A device to direct a urine stream has a circular collapsing sheath with a plurality of collapsible circular components. The circular collapsing sheath has a distal opening and a proximal opening. Each one of the plurality of collapsible circular components has a diameter smaller than the preceding one and the collapsing sheath collapses to a flattened form when subjected to a compressing force. The circular collapsing sheath opens to an expanded form when subjected to an expanding force. The circular collapsing sheath defines a continuous membrane that forms a channel that directs the urine stream into a waste receptacle. The circular collapsing sheath is made from a water soluble material that allows the user to discard the used device. The device is placed in a sanitary sealed package with a tear strip enabling the user to remove and use the device.

EASY EMPTY URINE COLLECTION BAGS

Urinary catheter collection bags and methods for using the same are provided. The collection bags allow users to more easily, cleanly and comfortably open and empty the bags.

Circuit, detector, wireless communication device, moisture sensing system, diaper, notification system, and circuit manufacturing method

The present invention provides a circuit including a plurality of component parts formed on a substrate and having common functions, wherein the plurality of component parts each includes a detection part which shows responsiveness to moisture; wherein the responsiveness to moisture varies between the plurality of component parts; and wherein the presence or absence of a response to moisture detected by each detection part corresponds to a binary digital signal, and whereby the circuit outputs a sequence of binary digital signals.

NON-INVASIVE FLUID COLLECTION DEVICE FOR IMPROVED FLUID COLLECTION FOR AMBULATORY USERS

Embodiments are directed to a fluid collection system for collecting and transporting urine away from the body. The system includes a fluid collection device positionable at least proximate to a urethra of a female user. The device includes a fluid impermeable enclosure, a fluid permeable membrane, a reservoir at least partially defined by the enclosure and the membrane, a porous body disposed in the reservoir, and a drain tube coupled to an intermediate region of the enclosure. The reservoir may be configured to receive fluid discharged from the user through the fluid permeable membrane. The tube may be positioned and configured to drain the fluid that flows through the porous body. The system further includes a vacuum source configured to draw fluid from the device by applying at least a partial suction force to the reservoir of the device and a fluid collection container in fluid communication with the tube.

Sanitary stoma system and method

A sanitary stoma system including at least eight absorbent sheets, with each of the sheets including absorbent plies. The plurality of absorbent sheets is arranged in a linear fashion and removably connected into a roll. The outermost absorbent sheet includes an adhesive such that the sanitary stoma system is configured into a stable roll useful for being placed upon a stoma of a user to absorb and contain bodily fluids excreted from the stoma, which may include urine or feces. Preferably, the sanitary stoma system is packaged in multiples of three and the sanitary stoma system is affixable to an abdomen of the user, configured to absorb bodily excretions.
