EASY EMPTY URINE COLLECTION BAGS
Urinary catheter collection bags and methods for using the same are provided. The collection bags allow users to more easily, cleanly and comfortably open and empty the bags.
Devices, Systems and Methods for Regulating Flow From a Stoma on a Patient
A medical appliance is configured with material that creates a fluid barrier with interior walls of a stoma on a patient. These configurations may include an annular disc with a stem on one side that inserts into the stoma. The material may reside on the stem, for example, in the form of a replaceable hollow tube that covers at least part of the stem. On the other side, a rotatable spigot inserts into a recess. The rotatable spigot has a first position that forms a flow path through the stem and the annular disc to allow waste to drain from the stoma. In one implementation, the rotatable spigot can couple with a collection device that receives the waste. The patient can return the rotatable spigot to a second position to prevent flow of waste.
Ostomy bags
An ostomy bag including in an accessible wall 1 a closable exit aperture 5 and means 4 for selectively releasing accumulated gas through the aperture 5.
OSTOMY POUCH VENT AND METHOD OF VENTING AN OSTOMY POUCH
An ostomy pouch vent includes a venting portion and a closure portion. The venting portion includes a cylindrical vent body defining a through-opening passage though the body. The closure portion including a closer body that is adapted to engage the vent body to selectively close the through-opening and a support member supporting the closure body. The support member manipulates the closure body into registration with the vent body to close the through-opening and manipulating the closure body away from the vent body to open the through-opening. A pair of grasping members extends in generally opposite directions from the support member. The grasping members have a grasping surface configured to be engaged by fingers of a user to apply a force to the support member.
Ostomy Pouch
The invention relates to an ostomy pouch 10, 110. The pouch 10, 110 comprises an inner wall 18b, 118b and an outer wall 20b, 120b sealed about at least part of the periphery thereof to define a cavity for containing a stomal output. An inlet 22, 122 is provided into the cavity for receiving stomal output from an ostomate, in use. The cavity comprises multiple sections 12, 14, 16; 112, 114, 116 separated by waisted sections 13, 15; 113, 115. The maximum width of the sections 12, 14, 16; 112, 114, 116 has a greater width than a minimum width of the waisted section(s) 13, 15; 113, 115.

Ostomy bag vent system for use in venting a gas from an interior of an ostomy collection pouch
A system for use in venting a gas from an interior of an ostomy collection pouch is described. The system is removable and/or reusable in other medical devices. A flange is configured to affix the system to a hole in a wall of the ostomy collection pouch. The flange may have a straight or a curved configuration. In examples, the flange has a 90 degree configuration. Further, the system includes a manual or a passive filter to remove odor from the gas.
Universal ostomy bag with a irrigation system that prevents ballooning up ostomy bags and specializes in odor reducing ostomy bags
The present invention discloses an advance ostomy bag which provides various novel advancements to the user. The assembly is easy to use and provides easy cleaning, fragrance addition, vent opening and closing system, gas chamber for sucking of gas and spill free structure.
Gas filter and release for ostomy appliance
Ostomy appliance components providing filtered release of gasses from a surgical stoma. Filter shape, positioning, and positioning structure relate to potential advantages in manufacturing and operation of components.
