DEFORMABLE THERMAL PACK
A thermal pack including: a flexible pouch body having a plurality of pouch segments each defining a cavity; one or more straps integrally formed with a first end of the pouch body, where the pouch body has one or more openings for accepting a second end of the one or more straps for securing the pouch body to a body part. The thermal pack can also include a bendable and deformable support frame having at least two twisted wires on at least two longer sides of the pouch body and/or metallic cubes disposed in each of the cavities of the pouch segments, each of the metallic cubes having a metallic shell defining a cavity with a freezable substance.
Projection frame eyelid heater
In one form, a projection frame eyelid heater includes a heating element and a frame. The heating element has first and second heat producing areas separated by a distance corresponding to a separation of human eyes and has first and second ends. The heating element produces heat in response to an application of a voltage thereto. The frame includes a left temple attachment portion and a right temple attachment portion each having a respective back portion extending downward and inward, a left eyelid chassis portion, an intermediate chassis portion, and a right eyelid chassis portion, wherein the intermediate chassis portion connects the left eyelid chassis portion and the right eyelid chassis portion. Each of the left eyelid chassis portion and the right eyelid chassis portion is adjustable with respect to the intermediate chassis portion in a direction from the user's nose toward the user's left and right eyes, respectively.
Fingertip warming device for increasing circulation
A fingertip warming device that can be used on either hand, will aid in warming of fingertips to help increase blood flow to the fingertips of the user for the purpose of easing the process of drawing blood, which will be used to check the user's glucose levels. The device will have warming elements either embedded in the distal end of fingertip slots/compartments or allow for the use of a heatable insert that will also reside in the distal end of the device for the purpose of warming the user's fingertips. The device will provide either flaps or a hole through which the user's fingertips can be exposed to allow for collection of a blood sample for testing glucose levels.
REUSABLE ICE PACK FOR A CAST
A reusable cooling pack for a cast that includes a body with a sidewall of a substantially rigid material, of a slender configuration, with an upper end, with a lower end having a cap selectively removably coupled to the lower end, a body length separating the upper and lower ends, defining an internal channel enclosed by the sidewall and spanning longitudinally from the lower end of the body and along the body length, and with a handle member coupled to the body and extending outwardly from the upper end, wherein the internal channel encapsulated the body and the cap and configured to receive a temperature-modulating solution therein for cooling the user when inserted inside a user's cast.
Exercise device
An exercise device is provided with a first element disposed at a first side and a second element disposed at a second side. The first element includes gripping features to prevent skidding or sliding of exercise device when first element is abutting a surface. The second element includes sliding features to facilitate sliding of exercise device when second element is abutting the surface. Thus, when an exercise practitioner desires to use the exercise device to prevent movement of a particular body part against the surface, the practitioner places the first element against the surface. Conversely, when the exercise practitioner desires to use the exercise device to facilitate movement of a particular body part against the surface, the practitioner places the second element against the surface. The exercise device further includes an insert which may be removed and heated or cooled to provide heating or cooling pad/pack to a body part.
Battery Powered Heating Pad for the Breast
A battery powered heating pad for the breast for lactating women. The battery powered heating pad for the breast generally includes a battery powered (or electrically-powered) heating pad for the breast. The heating pad includes a U-shaped body sized and shaped to be removably positioned within a pocket in a heating pad holder for attachment to a maternity bra. The heating pad also includes a U-shaped heating element positioned in alignment with the U-shaped body to provide heat at the outer surface of the U-shaped body. A power unit is also adapted to fit within the body, and is electrically connected to the heating element to provide electrical power to it. An open portion of the U-shaped body allows access to a woman's nipple without removing the electrically-powered heating pad.
HEATING BODY AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME
Provided is a heating body that enables high-speed production using a conventional rotary heat-sealing roll, has a wearing portion with sufficient strength to use by inserting a hand or the like, thereby being used safely and conveniently, and can be worn on the body or the like without being adhered thereto, and a method for producing the same. An example of one aspect of the present invention is a heating body in which a heat-generating composition that generates heat in the presence of air is accommodated in a bag body formed by heat sealing a one-surface side laminated base material comprising a first base material and a second base material, and a covering material, at a peripheral edge portion thereof, characterized in that: the first base material has one surface being a nonwoven fabric layer and the other surface being a heat sealable resin layer; the second base material is a sheet in which an olefin-based nonwoven fabric layer and a resin film are laminated using an olefin-based resin; the first base material and the second base material are capable of forming a space into which a body part can be inserted or held, in a part surrounded by the peripheral edge portion; and in a heat sealed part of the bag body peripheral edge portion, the heat sealable resin layer of the first base material and the nonwoven fabric layer of the second base material are bonded together, and the resin film of the second base material and the covering material are bonded together; as well as a method for producing the same.
METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING HEATING BODY, AND HEATING BODY
Provided is a method for efficiently producing products having good heat generation performance without reducing the production speed by delaying or preventing the start of heat generation of heat-generating compositions/heating elements during production or before sealing to an outer bag. Provided is a production method capable of avoiding unevenness of a heat-generating compositions in a bag/container or formation of a portion not filled with heat-generating compositions. A method for producing a heating element including a heat-generating composition that generates heat upon reaction with oxygen in air includes encapsulating a heat-generating composition precursor including a mixture containing a water-insoluble component of the heat-generating composition in an air-permeable bag/container formed of a water-permeable packaging material at least in part. The method also includes injecting a liquid component of the heat-generating composition into the heat-generating composition precursor through the water-permeable packaging material from a nozzle tip in contact with the water-permeable packaging material.
