SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR A SMART BANDAGE FOR MONITORING AND TREATING WOUNDS
Systems and methods for a smart bandage for monitoring and treating wounds are provided herein. The smart bandage may be a smart, wearable, flexible multi-layer substrate that may include a system that can monitor wound characteristics, perform autonomous bioanalysis of wound characteristics to determine wound treatment plans in a non-invasive method, perform drug delivery or antimicrobial agent release to treat and prevent infections, and promote healing by electrical stimulation. The smart bandage may be equipped with a wireless network that can communicate with users, such as patients and medical providers, directly about a patient's wound condition and provide for on-demand wound treatment.
Devices for bleeding reduction and methods of making and using the same
In some embodiments, a system includes an applicator pad, an application device (e.g., a grip), and a reservoir. The grip can be releasably couplable to the applicator pad and configured to dispose the applicator pad against a wound of a subject such that pressure can be transferred to the wound via the applicator pad to enhance hemostasis. The reservoir can be configured to contain medication to be released to the wound via the applicator pad.
ADHESIVE BANDAGE SYSTEM FOR MEDICATION DELIVERY AND INDICATION OF PROCEDURE LOCATION
An adhesive bandage system features a first member with an aperture substantially circumscribed by an adhesive layer couplable to a patient's skin. A second member of the adhesive bandage is removably couplable to the first member, having an adhesive along an outer perimeter on a first side, the outer perimeter sized so as to overlap with the first member. In some methods of use, a user may adhere the first member to a patient skin, administer a topical medication through the aperture, and then adhere the second member so as to cover the aperture. The second member may be removed, as needed, to either add medication, replace the medication with a new medication, or to have access to an injection site with a needle or catheter.
FABRIC SLEEVES COVERING TOE AND FINGER BLEMISHES AND TREATING SAID BLEMISHES
A system is provided comprising a columnar sleeve of stretchable fabric, the sleeve produced in various skin tone colors and configured to slip upon an individual toe or finger and an absorbent padding configured for attachment to an inside surface of the sleeve, the padding configured to cover about one half of an interior circumference of the inside surface, the padding optionally infused with at least one of pain killers, antiseptics, and soothing gels. The system also comprises wax paper covering the padding prior to use of the sleeve, an applicator shaped to facilitate slipping the sleeve upon the individual toe or finger, and convex-shaped flex bands placed lengthwise into the sleeve. The flex bands exert downward pressure on one of a toe and a finger and are placed in a U-shape, thus promoting the downward pressure.
BANDAGES FOR SUPPLYING OZONE THERAPY
The present disclosure relates to a bandage wherein the bandage comprise of a first layer of protective covering, wherein the first layer is removable; a second layer of covering, wherein the second layer of covering is made of a cloth material; a third layer of covering, wherein the third layer is the top most layer of the bandage and together with the second layer forms a support pad; an injection, wherein the injection is present on the second layer of covering; a cylinder, wherein the cylinder is present in the support pad, wherein the bandage is used for delivering a medication to a localized area on a patient's body. The bandage is further used for delivering localized, painless ozone gas treatment to a patient suffering from infectious disease. The bandage is easy to carry and comes in various shapes and sizes.
Wound dressing garment
A wound dressing garment is provided. The wound dressing garment includes a wearable garment including a portion having a hole configured to receive a wound dressing therein in combination with the wound dressing. The wound dressing includes a border connecting the wound dressing to the wearable garment where the border extends around the perimeter of the hole to locate the wound dressing therein. The wound dressing may include one or more additional layers including a hydrogel layer. A method for treating wound or preventing bed sores using the wound dressing garment is also provided.
Hand or Foot Compression Wound Bandage System
This invention relates to the field of a total covering breathable hand or foot compression bandage system that comprises a breathable hand compression wound bandage cover assembly; a breathable elastic fit compression sterile fabric hand or foot glove compression bandage insert which is inserted into the outer casing member of the hand compression wound bandage system; a plurality of sterile finger and toe tip absorbent pad bandages; adjustable cinching compression bandage straps that have a means to employ adjustable bandage straps to apply pressure to various potential user-selected wound locations; a wrist or ankle fastener which is integrated into the hand or foot compression wound bandage system at the wrist or ankle location to prevent the outflowing of blood or the entry of contaminates. Additional embodiments are a water proof model, have extra absorbency palm members that can apply extra wound pressure, or have pockets.
PATCHES FOR LOCALIZED USE
The present invention relates to a device and a method. The device of the present invention comprising a patch comprising: a substrate, and an adhesive on the substrate. Further, the patch is configured to be attached to a skin via the adhesive to form a pocket between the patch and the skin, to allow introduction of a material into the pocket, and to hold the material within the pocket.
ADVANCED DIGIT DRESSING
A dressing for treating a wound on a digit includes a digit contact layer configured to substantially prevent adherence of the dressing to the wound and an antimicrobial layer coupled to a wound-facing side of the digit contact layer. The antimicrobial layer includes an antimicrobial substance. A first roll is coupled to a non-wound-facing side of the digit contact layer and unrollable to cover the digit, the digit contact layer, and the antimicrobial layer and a second roll is coupled to the first roll and unrollable to cover the first roll, the digit, the digit contact layer, and the antimicrobial layer.
