Method and Apparatus for a Perforable Absorbent Portion Bandage (PAP-B) for Avoidance of Constant Adhesive Removal
An apparatus for removing a dressing without removing an adhesive portion comprising: an absorbent central portion; an adhesive frame; the absorbent portion coupled to the adhesive frame by a perforated border; and the perforated border with a tab, whereby a user holds the tab and pulls in any one of a direction to loosen free the absorbent portion from the adhesive frame via the perforated border, thereby freeing the absorbent portion from an applied skin surface without a need for removing the adhesive frame from the applied skin surface for mitigating against a risk of MARSI, tube dislodgement, or any risk associated with constant adhesive tape removal from a skin surface during long-term wound or tube insertion dressing.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR ANTIMICROBIAL NASAL CAVITY BANDAGE DRESSING
A nasal cavity bandage dressing and method of use thereof, including a bandage made from a waterproof, antimicrobial, and adhesive material; and a multi-layered, absorbent sterile dressing affixed to the bandage. The bandage affixed with the non-adherent multi-layered absorbent sterile dressing is configured to fit within a nasal cavity.
HYDROGEL BANDAGE
A bandage including a padding material, a hydrogel material; and a substrate is taught. The padding material of the bandage is co-disposed by the hydrogel material and both the padding material and the hydrogel material are carried by the substrate. The bandage is created by providing a substrate having a first and second planar surface. Then, a hydrogel material is placed onto the second planar surface of the substrate. Finally, a padding material is placed onto the second planar surface of the substrate so that the padding material is co-disposed by the hydrogel material.
Rubber Bandage for Finger
The current invention is bandage that provides increased security of medical gauze and antibiotic ointment for wounds on fingers. The gauze is on the interior of the bandage, and is used to cover a finger wound. Antibiotic ointment is on the gauze to promote a healthy healing process. The exterior is a rubber tube, which comes in a variety of sizes to allow a secure fit. The tube is composed of a hypoallergenic rubber.
