HIGH SHEER STRENGTH COMPRESSION WRAPS TO APPLY KNOWN PRESSURES

Embodiments of the inventive subject matter are directed to non-sticky, adhesive-free wraps. Wraps disclosed in this application are designed to stick to themselves by implementing a material that comprises fibers on one side and loops on the other. The selected materials have high sheer strength and low breakaway strength, so they are easy to put on and take off and will not fall off accidentally. Wraps of the inventive subject matter additionally include regularly spaced lines that facilitates application of known magnitudes of pressure. By using a key that is tuned to a specific wrap, users can apply a desired amount of pressure to a limb.

A bandage securing device composed of a first sheet part and a second sheet part, and optionally also a third sheet part. The first and second sheet parts are connected to each other along a connection line extending in a width direction and arranged to overlap each other, thereby forming a jaw-like structure in a longitudinal direction. At least one of the first and second sheet parts, and possibly both, are provided with at least one first adherent fastening layer on an internal surface facing the overlap. Further, the bandage securing device can include at least one second adherent fastening layer on an external surface, not facing the overlap, to detachably connect to the bandage. This second adherent fastening layer may be provided on one of the first and second sheet parts, and/or on the third sheet part.

A tissue interface configured to be positioned at a tissue site is provided. The tissue interface may include a first tissue interface layer, a second tissue interface layer, and a bonding layer disposed between the first tissue interface layer and the second tissue interface layer. The bonding layer may couple the first tissue interface layer to the second tissue interface layer. The interface layers may be bonded together lightly such that the bonding layer is sufficiently strong to hold together a first interface layer and a second interface layer, but weak enough to allow the first tissue interface layer to be separated or detached from the second tissue interface layer when pulled apart by a user. This allows a user to add or remove any number of tissue interface layers to adjust the height of the tissue interface 108 in order to accommodate the depth of a tissue site.
