DOUBLE COATING FOR WOUND DRESSINGS
A medical dressing is described that includes: a porous layer having a first side and a second side; a first coating extending along at least a portion of the surface area of said first side of said porous layer; a second coating extending along said first side of said porous layer, said second coating comprising a pattern of through openings; wherein said first coating extends along at least those portions of the surface area of said first side of said porous layer that coincide with the through openings of said second coating and wherein said first surface of said second coating extends in a plane (B) that is farther away, in the vertical direction, from the first side of said porous layer, than the corresponding plane (A) defined by the first surface of said first coating.
ADHESIVE MEDICAL ARTICLE HAVING FLUID MANAGEMENT PROPERTIES
The disclosed adhesive medical article has a backing layer having a first major surface and a second major surface opposite to the first major surface. The backing layer has a central portion and an outer circumferential portion. The article further has a pressure sensitive adhesive pattern coating applied onto at least part of the first major surface of the backing layer in such a way as to form a plurality of adhesive coated and adhesive uncoated areas of the backing layer. The adhesive uncoated areas comprise a central collection portion and at least one longitudinal extension radiating from the central collection portion towards the outer circumferential portion of the backing layer.
Skin contact material
A substrate based skin contact material formed from a hydrocolloid having a silicone based component extending over regions of the substrate surface. The adhesive is formed non-continuously over the substrate to provide areas devoid of adhesive to allow appreciable moisture transfer between the skin and substrate and improve the skin friendliness of the material during use and allow convenient removal with avoidance of skin irritation.

Disclosed are apparatuses comprising at least one electrode element having a skin-facing surface; a skin contact layer comprising an adhesive composite, and an adhesive tape or bandage. Disclosed are methods comprising positioning one or more electrode assemblies on a target site of a subject, the one or more electrode assemblies comprising at least one electrode element having a skin-facing surface; a skin contact layer comprising a conductive adhesive composite, and an adhesive tape or bandage, wherein the at least one electrode element is electrically coupled to the skin contact layer. In some aspects, the methods further comprise removing at least one of the one or more electrode assemblies from the target site of the subject after a period of time. In some aspects, after removal of the one or more electrode assemblies, the target site is evaluated for an adverse event.
IMPROVED WOUND DRESSING MEMBER
The present invention relates to an improved wound dressing member, characterized in that the improved wound dressing member is a laminate comprising: a main body having an opening formed in the central portion thereof, wherein the opening is operable and closable by means of a cover; a cover sheet laminated on top of the main body; a release paper laminated below the main body; and the cover sheet capable of opening or closing the opening by being form-fitted into the opening.

Pressure sensitive adhesives with amphiphilic copolymer
A silicone pressure sensitive adhesive with amphiphilic copolymers for maintaining adhesion in a moist environment. The amphiphilic copolymers for silicone adhesives include at least one silicone moiety and at least one hydrophilic segment. Such adhesives are applicable to securing medical devices to human skin.
Super soft foams
Super-soft foam materials, optionally for use as medical dressings, are provided. The pads are made of a foam prepared from NCO-terminated prepolymers in combination with an aqueous phase including fatty alcohols and alkyl polysaccharides. The foam may optionally contain at least one medicinal agent.
Silicone-gel-coated adhesive layer structure
The present invention relates to a silicone-gel-coated, adhesive layer structure, a method for the production thereof as well as the use thereof. The layer structure comprises a porous backing material, an intermediate layer applied to one side of the porous backing material and an adhesive layer made of a silicone gel applied to the intermediate layer.
