Wound covering apparatus
The present disclosure relates to apparatus for covering a burn or other wound in ways that prevent or limit touching the wound. The present disclosure describes Burn Bandages that may include domes or structures that bridge over a wide range of a burn or wound size. In certain instances these structures may expand in one or more directions as they are adjusted to fit to a particular burn or wound size. Such bridging structures may include airways, openings, or voids that promote air/oxygen flow to the wound as the Burn Bandage sits upon surfaces or pads that contact healthy surrounding tissue while they cover a wound site. The apparatus may be any shape including, yet not limited to, a circle, a rectangle, a square, a hexagon, an octagon, an oval, a cone, a cylinder, have a semi-cylindrical shape, or that have any another geometric shape.
Dressing
A dressing for application to human or animal skin and/or to medical devices, comprising a fixing web provided with an adhesive on a fixing surface, covering means removably attached to the fixing surface, and support means connected to the covering means and removably attached to an outer surface of the fixing web facing away from the fixing surface, wherein the outer surface has an exposed shaping surface which is at least partially surrounded by the support means.
WOUND DRESSING PATCH
A wound dressing patch includes a backing film; an absorbent foam pad coupled to the a portion of one surface of the backing film; an adhesive sheet provided on a remaining portion of the one surface of the backing film; and a lining material provided along a peripheral edge portion of the adhesive sheet and configured to impart a predetermined stiffness to the backing film. The lining material is spaced apart from the absorbent foam pad to surround the absorbent foam pad in a form of a substantially closed curve along the peripheral edge portion of the adhesive sheet, and a distance between the lining material and an end of the adhesive sheet is shorter than a distance between the lining material and an edge of the absorbent foam pad.

WOUND DRESSING MODULE, DEVICE, AND SYSTEM
A surgical pin compression wound dressing stabilizing system includes a compressive wound dressing module capable of securing with one or more surgical pins with a locking mechanism. The stabilizing device has a body for compressing the wound dressing towards the wound about one or more surgical pins.
Multiple well epicutaneous test patch array
Described is a novel epicutaneous test plaster useful for the application of test substances for direct and continuous contact with the skin of a human patient. The plaster comprises a support lattice with a flexible carrier lattice adhered thereto, the combination forming a series of test chambers capable of receiving test substances for application to the skin.
