The inner cuff may include an inner cuff folded edge and an inner cuff material edge and the outer cuff may include an outer cuff folded edge and an outer cuff material edge such that the web of material is folded laterally inward to form the outer cuff folded edge and folded laterally outward to form the inner cuff folded edge.
Absorbent article with selectively positioned waist containment member
An absorbent article (10, 110, 210, 310) can include a chassis (11) including an absorbent body (34). The chassis (11) can include a body facing surface (19). The absorbent article (10, 110, 210, 310) can also include a waist containment member (54, 154, 254). The waist containment member (54, 154, 254) can include a proximal portion (76) coupled to the body facing surface (19) of the chassis (11) and a distal portion (78) that includes a free edge (88). The distal portion (78) can be free to move with respect to the chassis (11) when the absorbent article (10, 110, 210, 310) is in a relaxed configuration. The free edge (88) can be about 50.0 millimeters or less from the rear waist edge (24) of the absorbent article (10, 110, 210, 310) when the absorbent article (10, 110, 210, 310) is in the stretched, laid-flat configuration.
Absorbent article having a folded waist
An article including a front region, a back region, and a chassis. The chassis may include an absorbent core having a front end edge and a back end edge. The front region and the back region may extend laterally outward beyond side edges of the chassis. The front region and the back region may abut to form a first seam and a second seam. At least one of the front region and the back region may include an elastic member. A first outer nonwoven layer of the front region and a second outer nonwoven layer of the back region may be folded to form an upper edge in the front and back regions such that a distal end of each of the first and second outer nonwoven layer may be disposed between the upper edge and the front and back end edges of the absorbent core, respectively.
ABSORBENT ARTICLE WITH LEG GASKETING CUFF
A disposable absorbent article may include a topsheet, a backsheet, an absorbent core disposed between the topsheet and the backsheet, and a leg gasketing system. The leg gasketing system may include an inner cuff and an outer cuff.
ATTACHABLE-TYPE DISPOSABLE WEARING ARTICLE
An attachable-type disposable wearing article including waist elastic members fixed to an end flap, standup gather parts located on opposed widthwise sides, a linear first bending part extending in the width direction from a front edge of one of the back laid-down portions to a front edge of the other, and a linear second bending part extending in the width direction and spaced forwardly apart from the first bending part, a first area adjacent backward to the first bending part and a second area between the first and second bending parts, the waist stretchable region is provided at least between the opposed right and left back laid-down portions, and the second bending part has lower rigidity compared to the second area and the third area adjacent forward to the second bending part.
ABSORBENT PADS
An absorbent pad configured to be positioned on a surface is provided. The absorbent pad is configured to absorb and contain bodily exudates and improve skin health for babies. The absorbent pad comprises a central longitudinal axis, a central lateral axis, a liquid permeable topsheet, a liquid impermeable backsheet, and an absorbent core disposed intermediate the liquid permeable topsheet and the liquid impermeable backsheet. The absorbent pad comprises a single pair of cuffs extending at least partially intermediate a first end edge and a second end edge of the absorbent pad. The cuffs are each configured to extend upwardly relative to the topsheet. The absorbent pad comprises a wetness guard positioned on a first side of the central lateral axis and having a portion positioned proximate to the first end edge. The wetness guard is positioned over at least a portion of the topsheet and crosses the central longitudinal axis.
Disposable diaper
A disposable diaper having a front-rear direction and a width direction that is orthogonal to the front-rear direction, includes: a front waistline region; a rear waistline region; a crotch region disposed between the front waistline region and the rear waistline region; an absorbent core; a skin surface side sheet disposed on a skin facing surface side from the absorbent core; a waistband disposed on the skin facing surface side of the skin surface side sheet in the rear waistline region; and a fastening tape disposed in the rear waistline region and that includes a locking portion.
Absorbent article with bodyside liner providing a barrier region
An absorbent article can include a bodyside liner that provides a barrier region. The barrier region can be a central portion of the bodyside liner not coupled to the absorbent body. The barrier region can include a first longitudinal side edge and a second longitudinal side edge. The first longitudinal side edge can be coupled to the projection portion of the first containment flap. The second longitudinal side edge can be coupled to the projection portion of the second containment flap. When the absorbent article is in the relaxed configuration and the projection portion of the first containment flap and the projection portion of the second containment flap extend away from the absorbent body, the central portion of the bodyside liner extends away from absorbent body.
Absorbent article with pocket dividing front and rear regions
Absorbent articles of the present disclosure may be constructed with a secondary liner sheet placed on top of a body facing liner of the articles configured to form a pocket. The pocket provides a barrier, thereby separating a front region of the absorbent articles from a rear region. In this manner, the absorbent articles of the present disclosure may reduce the spread of bodily exudates throughout the articles. The reduced spreading of exudates may help to keep skin healthy by reducing the amount of skin exposed to the skin irritants within the exudates and/or by preventing additional skin irritants from being created by preventing the mixing of BM and urine, at least in proximity to the skin of the wearer.
