ARRAY OF DISPOSABLE ABSORBENT ARTICLES
20230157898 · 2023-05-25 ·

The present disclosure relates to an array of disposable absorbent articles adapted for different activities, the array comprising a first package comprising a plurality of pant-type absorbent articles (10), configured to be worn about the lower torso of a wearer and a second package comprising a plurality of pad-type absorbent articles (10′), configured to be fastened to an undergarment, wherein the absorbent core (1,1′) of said pant-type and said pad-type absorbent articles (10,10′) comprises absorbent material selected from the group consisting of cellulose fibers, superabsorbent polymers and combinations thereof, said absorbent material being contained within at least one core wrap substrate enclosing said absorbent material, and wherein a top layer of said core wrap is adhered to a bottom layer of said core wrap to form one or more channels (4) substantially free of said absorbent material.

Layered product comprising superabsorbent polymer

A layered product including at least one natural fiber layer including a web of natural fibers and at least one SAP layer including a non-woven substrate including a thermoplastic polymer fibers and a superabsorbent polymer adhered to thermoplastic polymer fibers, wherein the non-woven substrate is a high loft fabric, for example an airlaid or spunlaid non-woven, and wherein the natural fiber layer and the SAP layer are connected to each other by needle punching, stitch bonding or using an adhesive. A process to prepare the layered product and the use of the layered product in for example horticulture.

A polymer provided region (13) at which a superabsorbent polymer (12) is provided, and a polymer non-provided region (14) at which the superabsorbent polymer (12) is not provided are formed, a liquid diffusion sheet (15), that promotes diffusion of body fluid in a plane direction, is staked to be adjacent to a skin side surface of a lower layer sheet (11), and an upper layer sheet (10) is bonded with the liquid diffusion sheet (15) under a state that the upper layer sheet (10) contacts the liquid diffusion sheet (15), at the polymer non-provided region (14) to form a polymer sheet (4).

Low friction core-shell nanofibrous membranes for delivery of active ingredients to the wet skin

A membrane for skin comprising a plurality of randomly oriented core-shell nanofibers is provided in the present invention, where each of said core-shell nanofibers comprises at least an active-ingredient-loaded polymeric core and a non-polymeric shell consisting of active ingredients only surrounding the core. Related fabrication method of said membrane is also provided in the present invention.

Disposable absorbent article

A disposable absorbent undergarment is disclosed. It includes an absorbent assembly comprising a core formed of a synthetic tow or of synthetic nonwoven layers and having first section comprising a slow acting but high absorption capacity SAP and a second section comprising a fast acting but lower absorption capacity SAP, all of which is wrapped in a wrapper to hold the SAP in place. The absorbent assembly may be quilted and corrugated. The undergarment also includes releasably securable fasteners to enable it to be readily removed and a suspension system to ensure that the garment fits properly and doesn't leak even when holding a large amount of exudate. Odor removal/masking and treatment features may be provided. It addition the undergarment may include a wetness indicator.
