POROMERIC WAISTBAND
A poromeric waistband comprises a waistband composed of an elastic colloid sheet, a poromeric supporting portion is protrudingly disposed on a side of the waistband, the poromeric supporting portion comprises a plurality of supporting ribs disposed roughly perpendicular to the waistband, and ventilating passages are formed between the supporting ribs; and a fastening unit disposed on two ends of the waistband respectively, and the waistband is formed as a loop by overlapping the two fastening units on the two ends. The colloid provides an excellent elasticity for a good wrapping effect. The supporting ribs of the poromeric supporting portion provide an anti-slipping and supporting effect. The ventilating passages between the supporting ribs provide an air circulation effect for maintaining the users' comfort even under long duration of usage and high temperatures.
Lumbar-supporting back-bracing apparatus and methods
A back-bracing apparatus and associated methods of use and/or manufacture are provided. The apparatus includes support and belt portions. The support portion includes a plurality of posterior ribs configured to abut and extend along a low back of a user and a bracing web component having a plurality of crossing structures coupling adjacent ribs. At least one rib includes first and second upper slots disposed at opposite sides of an upper portion of the rib and first and second lower slots disposed at opposite sides of a lower portion of the rib. The belt portion includes an inner strap coupled to the support portion and configured to wrap around a torso and a low back of the user, and upper and lower outer straps configured to pass through the first and second upper slots and the first and second lower slots, respectively, and wrap around the inner strap.
POSTPARTUM BELLY WRAP
Presented is a belly wrap wearable by a postpartum woman The belly wrap includes a wrap body having a first side, and a second side. The wrap body includes a back support section with a pocket disposed thereof, a first side section, and a second side section attached on either side of the back support section, and an abdomen support section attached to one side of the second side section. The abdomen support section includes a pocket configured on the first side of the wrap body, and a first matting means configured on the second side of the wrap body. The first side section further includes finger-like projections extending therefrom. The finger-like projections include a head incorporating a second mating means. The second mating means removably engages with the first mating means to ensure the belly wrap is wrapped around the abdomen and back of the woman.
STERNAL PAD MOUNT FOR SPINE BRACE
The disclosure provides a brace having a brace panel; a pad having an adjustment post with adjustment apertures; and an adjustable mount integrated with the panel for adjustably mounting the pad onto the panel, the adjustable mount including wedged levers operatively associated with a retaining arm having pins and located within a channel configured to receive the adjustment post of the sternal pad and the adjustment apertures.
Welded back brace
A welded orthopedic back brace is disclosed. In an embodiment, at least one belt member is coupled to a spinal support element. The materials of the belt member are thermally fused to form a unitary segment. In another embodiment, an anterior portion of a posterior pad of the spinal support element includes thermally fused materials to provide a user with an added degree of comfort.
HUMAN BODY FLEXION AND EXTENSION ASSIST DEVICE
Provided is a human body flexion and extension assist device that is in close contact with a back, a pelvis, and a thigh of the human body to exert an assisting force to a flexion and extension motion of an upper body. According to a human body flexion and extension assist device according to the present disclosure, it is possible to store energy by a lower back flexing motion, and conversely, assist the human body by transmitting energy to a lower back extending motion. In addition, it is possible to determine a current motion of a human body, determine when an assisting force is delivered to a lower body, and minimizing discomfort by moving a lower body freely when assisting force is unnecessary.
PELVIS CORRECTION BELT
A pelvis correction belt includes a support member (10) and a press member (20). The press member is provided with multiple belt members (22, 24) placed in upper and lower portions and having elasticity in a longitudinal direction, and the belt members (22, 24) press the pelvis by coupling coupling parts (30, 40) of the press member. The pelvis correction belt is further provided with a first pressing auxiliary belt (50) and a second pressing auxiliary belt (60), each of which extends to both left and right sides from the support member (10) and has a combining part (52, 62) on its tip that can combine with one of the coupling parts (40).
