HEATING IMPLEMENT
A warming device including a heat generating element and an enclosing material that houses the heat generating element is described. A portion of the enclosing material that comes into contact with a target to be warmed when the warming device is in use is made of an air permeable fibrous sheet that contains crimped fibers and non-crimped fibers. The ratio of the non-crimped fibers relative to the total of the crimped fibers and the non-crimped fibers in the fibrous sheet is 50 mass % or more. The fibrous sheet included in the heat generating element is configured to increase the thickness thereof by 0.2 mm or more and 0.7 mm or less during a period from the start to the end of heat generation.
HEATING IMPLEMENT
A warming device including a heat generating element and an enclosing material that houses the heat generating element is described. A portion of the enclosing material that comes into contact with a target to be warmed when the warming device is in use is made of an air permeable fibrous sheet that contains crimped fibers and non-crimped fibers. The ratio of the non-crimped fibers relative to the total of the crimped fibers and the non-crimped fibers in the fibrous sheet is 50 mass % or more. The fibrous sheet included in the heat generating element is configured to increase the thickness thereof by 0.2 mm or more and 0.7 mm or less during a period from the start to the end of heat generation.
PERINEAL PROTECTION DEVICE, SYSTEM AND METHOD
Aspects of embodiments pertain to a perineal protection device for reducing the risk or preventing perineal tear during birth. The device may comprise a reinforcement shield that is releasably connectable to a female perineum of a subject, the reinforcement shield having a surface geometry substantially corresponding to an underlying perineal muscle structure and being configured to reduce deformation of the perineum during childbirth. Optionally, the perineal protection device further comprises a fastener arrangement for releasably securing the reinforcement shield to the female perineum. The fastener arrangement may comprise a support pad that is adhesively engageable with the subject and/or straps for strapping the reinforcement shield to the subject.
Ear apparatus and methods of use
Selectively controllable apparatus for insertion into an ear canal, and related methods of use and operation for behavioral control. In one embodiment, the apparatus includes a body configured for insertion into an ear canal. In one variant, the body includes one or more thermal mechanisms which enable selective increase or decrease of temperature of at least portions of the ear canal so as to implement behavioral control of the user, such as to mitigate cravings for food, alcohol, narcotics, or other potentially deleterious substances. In one variant, a mild nausea or pre-nausea condition is created within the user according to a time-temperature profile so as to induce the aforementioned behavioral modification.

AURICLE HEATING DEVICE
An auricle heating device according to one aspect of the present invention, including a pair of left and right heating devices that are to be respectively worn in a left and right ear, wherein each heating device includes: a heating body; a holding portion configured to hold the heating body; and a fixing portion. The fixing portion is connected to the holding portion and configured to be worn in an auricle so as to fix the holding portion so as to be in contact with an inner side of the auricle. The left and right heating devices are separate from each other.

An auricle heating device according to one aspect of the present invention, including a pair of left and right heating devices that are to be respectively worn in a left and right ear, wherein each heating device includes: a heating body; a holding portion configured to hold the heating body; and a fixing portion. The left and right heating devices are separate from each other.

A heat generator for knees 1 includes a heat-generating material and a pouch that is formed from a pair of sheets and that accommodates the heat-generating material inside. The pouch includes a peripheral joint portion that is formed from the pair of sheets that are joined, and that has a heat generation area inside, and a partition portion that divides the heat generation area into sections in the left-and-right direction by the pair of sheets joined in the up-and-down direction on the inner side of the peripheral joint portion.
