APPARATUS, METHOD AND SET FOR THE REGENERATION OF KNEE JOINT CARTILAGES
20230050651 · 2023-02-16 ·

An apparatus for the regeneration of knee joint cartilages has a support housing on which a slide part is displaceably held. The slide part has a holding and/or supporting apparatus for a leg region below a knee joint of a leg. Furthermore, a controllable movement drive moves the slide part to and fro relative to the support housing along a predefinable adjustment path. The adjustment path is predefined such that a defined compressive/tensile loading can be applied to the knee joint. The holding and/or supporting apparatus is suitable for fixing a foot in a manner free from rotation on the slide part, and/or the support housing forms a leg support which is suitable for forming a continuous supporting surface from the foot as far as a thigh region.

FOLDING ROLLATOR
20230028131 · 2023-01-26 ·

A rollator to aid mobility is described. The rollator comprises an A-frame with two pairs of uprights, each pair of uprights connected by at least one respective hinge to allow each pair of uprights to be folded or pivot front-to-back and a seat disposed between the two pairs of uprights, the seat foldable side-to-side. To fold compactly the rollator comprises an X-shaped cross-linkage comprising four linkage members. A method of manufacturing the rollator is also disclosed. The four linkage members may extend from a respective upright to a central hub underneath the seat. The cross-linkage may fold or pivot at the central hub in both front-to back and side-to-side dimensions when the rollator is folded away.

MOBILITY ASSISTANCE DEVICE WITH TENSIONER
20230029427 · 2023-01-26 ·

A mobility assistance apparatus includes first and second frames positioned on left and right sides of a user; a hinge arm mechanism coupled to the first and second frames; and a pivotable securing unit or a walking seat coupled to the frames to transfer at least a portion of the user's body weight from the legs and to transfer weight through the user's hip or pelvis to the first and second frame enabling the user to stand or work for an extended period without requiring the user's arms to hold the frame; a wheel coupled to the first and second frames; a brake coupled to the wheel to provide friction to the wheel when actuated; and a tensioner coupled to the brake to adjust cable tension during wheel braking.

WALKER WITH SUPPORT FOR BUTTOCKS AND ELBOW
20230225926 · 2023-07-20 ·

This is a mobility aid for disabled persons, including a front frame, a rear frame, and a handle frame. The front frame comprises two front legs having front wheels at the bottom ends thereof. The rear frame is attached to the front frame and includes a saddle seat and a rear leg having a rear wheel attached thereto. The handle frame includes a handle horizontal tube and a vertical handle member depending therefrom. The vertical handle member is attached to the front frame. The handle horizontal tube includes an elbow support at each end and a hand rest support plate having a pair of hand rest spheres. A patient can sit on the saddle seat with their elbow resting on the elbow support so that some or most of their body weight is supported by the saddle and elbow support, while the feet can walk freely.

Massage machine

A massage machine includes a seat unit on which a treatment subject person is configured to sit, a backrest unit configured to support a back of the person sitting on the seat unit, a base that is disposed in front of the backrest unit; and a treatment mechanism that is attached to the base configured to perform a massage on a shoulder of the person in a state where the person sits on the seat unit. The treatment mechanism includes a drive unit which includes an output shaft attached to the base and rotated by supplied power, and a treatment device configured to press the shoulder from above. In accordance with rotation of the output shaft, the treatment device oscillates in an upward/downward direction so as to perform the treatment on the shoulder.

Walking aid vehicle
11702122 · 2023-07-18 · ·

A walking aid vehicle (1) includes: an operation part (3) provided on an upper portion of a vehicle body for grasping by a user in a walking posture; a detector (30) for detecting an operation force applied to the operation part; and an inclination detector (20) for detecting inclination of the vehicle body. When an advance direction inclination detected by the detector is less than threshold, a normal control (100) generates a normal direction torque in the drive motor (40L, 40R) responsive to pushing the operation part (3) forward and generates a reverse direction torque in the drive motor responsive to pulling the operation part rearward, and when the advance direction inclination is equal to or greater than threshold and pushing operation force is detected, a shift to a pull control (110) is made which generates normal direction torque in the drive motor responsive to a pulling operation force.

PERSONAL MOBILITY SYSTEM
