Methods, systems and devices for reducing anxiety, including increasing relaxation and/or calm. In some variations these methods may include reducing anxiety, increase relaxation and/or calm by non-invasive temperature regulation of the frontal cortex prior to and/or during sleep. The subject may have an anxiety disorder, or may not have a diagnosed anxiety disorder.

FACE CRADLE SYSTEM
20230000713 · 2023-01-05 ·

A face cradle system; the face cradle system includes a face cradle configured to be used in combination with a host massage therapy table. The face cradle includes an adjustable frame includes an open-ended oval shape having a first-arm extension, a second-arm extension, and an oval portion. The oval portion of the adjustable frame includes a padded forehead hammock positioned at a closed end of the oval portion. The padded forehead hammock features a sinus relief nodule which makes contact upon, and applies pressure to, an area directly above a bridge of a nose. The oval portion, the first-arm extension and the second-arm extension are connected at an adjustable pivot point. The face cradle system promotes proper alignment of the spine, relieves and prevents a user's sinus pressure while in a prone position, and overall facilitates a more beneficial massage.

Applying predetermined sound to provide therapy

A system, method and device for providing sound-based therapies to a user. The system, method, and device employ an initial measurement about a user (either or both distances on said user's head or recorded sound), a determination of a resonant frequency, and a wearable actuator affixed on said user's person with the ability to provide a unique resonant frequency to the user. The aspects disclosed herein may also incorporate microphones to optimize and monitor the treatment.

A therapeutic vibrational system for treating such conditions as hypertension may have a plurality of vibrating patches; each including a vibrating motor with an adhesive for application to a person's skin permitting the plurality of vibrating patches to be placed in two or more locations on the person's skin, as well as a controller with a user interface and configured to provide control instructions to the plurality of vibrating patches.

Method and Apparatus for Affecting Wellness Through Topical Application of Hand-held Rods
20170273858 · 2017-09-28 ·

A method and apparatus for affecting wellness in a person's body are provided. More particularly, the apparatus for affecting wellness comprises one, or even two, cylindrical rods comprising minerals and other materials defined, in some embodiments, by high specific heat and low conductivity so that the rods are able transfer heat to a person's body relatively slowly. Methods are disclosed which direct particular applications of such rods, or wands, on the body in order to locally stimulate muscles and circulation to relieve and/or treat various conditions.

Long-Term Therapeutic Pressure Applicator and Real-Time Monitoring System
20170258662 · 2017-09-14 ·

This invention pertains to a therapeutic pressure applicator with a sensor and transceiver worn by a patient during daily activity to apply pressure to a specific body part during long term treatment, and used in a system with a device such as a cell phone to receive and display real-time pressure data to alert the patient and physician when the pressure is outside a desired range. The applicator includes a securement member and a pressure adjusting device with a pressure adjusting dial, pressure sensing component, pressure focusing plate and cushion. Rotating the dial retracts or extends the sensing component, focusing plate and cushion. The applicator has a computer module with a CPU, memory, transceiver, power source and a force sensor. The focusing plate aligns a pressure button into pressed engagement with the sensor to transmit real-time focused pressure data to the CPU, which converts the focused data into real-time cushion pressure data. The transceiver periodically communicates the long-term, real-time cushion pressure data to the cell phone that displays and stores the data.

Complementary Alternative Medicine Cold Compress Temple Massager
20210369546 · 2021-12-02 ·

A temple massager including first and second flexible arcuate arms, each having a proximal portion connected to a handle and a distal portion, each of said distal portions having tip retention structure configured to capture and retain first and second pressure members; a selectively removable pressure member is disposed on each of the tip retention structures. The pressure members are fabricated from cold compress material and may include a compartment for containing a fluid or gel cold compress composition. A tension adjustment mechanism is disposed between the arcuate arms proximate the handle to adjust the spacing between the pressure members and thereby adjust pressure applied to a user's temples.

SUBCUTANEOUS TISSUE THERAPY TREATMENT METHOD
