Multi-zonal roller and method of use thereof
The present invention generally relates a multi-zonal and non-circular roller with several different zones along the periphery of the roller's outer surface and more specifically a roller having a non-circular internal area, a non-regular external surface covered by a series of multiple shape and angles designed to include to offer a user different types of resistance and muscle relief, including a point for the management of a myofascial trigger point.
THERAPEUTIC APPARATUS AS AN EXPANDABLE PRESSURE POINT MAT COMPRISING PRESSURE POINT FINGERS TO TARGET HUMAN TISSUE AREAS TO RELIEVE PAIN AND PROVIDE THERAPEUTIC TREATMENT
A therapeutic apparatus for providing a therapeutic treatment is disclosed. The therapeutic apparatus includes mats. Each mat includes first pressure point fingers. Each first pressure point finger extends from the surface of the mat. The therapeutic apparatus includes a connector connecting the mats. The connector comprises second pressure point fingers. The second pressure point fingers have a similar construction to the first pressure point finger. The mats position side-by-side with the help of the connector exposing the first pressure point fingers of each adjacent mat and the second pressure point fingers of the connector providing a continuous array of pressure point fingers. A user rests over the first pressure point fingers and the second pressure point fingers for applying pressure to targeted areas of human tissue to relieve pain and get therapeutic treatment.
MYOFASCIAL AND COMPRESSION RELEASE DEVICE
Described herein is a device and method for performing ischemic compression therapy to treat myofascial release. A method for performing ischemic compression therapy includes providing a device comprising two or more pressure rollers and an elastic compression band. The device is capable of being placed on a trigger point to form a loop configuration to provide 360° compression to the trigger point for a predetermined amount of time, such as a time sufficient to block blood flow to the trigger point.
"A.J.R. Tool" Massage Therapy Tool
The AJR Tool is used to safely apply pressure to specific areas during massage therapy. The tool's unique shape, combination of rigid and yielding surfaces and lightweight construction distinguish it from any other massage therapy tool.
THERAPEUTIC WAND SYSTEM, KIT, AND METHOD
Embodiments of the present disclosure include a system for applying therapeutic pressure to a skin surface including a tip arranged at a first end of a therapeutic wand. The system also includes a head arranged opposite the tip at a second end of the therapeutic wand. The system includes a body arranged between the tip and the head, the body housing a control system for controlling operation of the therapeutic wand. The control system includes a printed circuit board, a timer electrically connected to the printed circuit board, the timer being programmable to determine an elapsed time of use of the therapeutic wand, and an indicator. The system also includes a grip arranged between the body and the head, the grip having an outer surface that is softer than the body to provide an ergonomic and comfortable location to hold the therapeutic wand.

FOOT-BASED MASSAGE APPARATUS
A method of administering a massage comprising providing a base member with a flexible member coupled to opposite sides of the base member. The base member is rested on top of a support surface so that connection points where the flexible member attaches to the base member are vertically disposed above the support surface. A patient is positioned on the base member and the support surface so that the patient is laying between the opposite sides of the base member. Force is delivered to the patient laying on the base member using a foot of a massage practitioner. The massage practitioner utilizes the flexible member to assist with balance of the massage practitioner while the force is delivered to the patient.
A MASSAGE ATTACHMENT FOR USE WITH AN ELECTRIC TOOTHBRUSH
A massage accessory for use with an electric toothbrush has a body and a coupling mechanism. The electric toothbrush has a body, and a shaft configured to generate an oscillating movement. The coupling mechanism is configured to couple the massage accessory to the shaft of the electric toothbrush. The body of the accessory has a base at a proximal end of the body, a head at or near a distal end of the body, and a flexible region between the base and the head. The base, the head, and the flexible region are arranged such that the head is configured to move in response to the oscillating movement of the shaft and the base remains relatively stationary compared to the body of the electric toothbrush. A massage accessory for use with an electric toothbrush has a transfer shaft with a driving feature, and a coupling mechanism configured to couple the massage accessory to the shaft of the electric toothbrush. The accessory has a head having a driving feature that is complementary to the driving feature of the transfer shaft. A space is provided between the driving feature of the transfer shaft and the driving feature of the head when the transfer shaft and head are engaged such that oscillating movement of the transfer shaft causes a corresponding oscillating movement of the head and additionally causes vibration of the head.
Massage apparatus providing pulsed electromagnetic field
A massage apparatus providing a pulsed electromagnetic field may comprise: a massage unit which comprises a mount frame provided so as to be movable along the body of a user, and an acupressure module protrudingly provided to the mount frame so as to apply pressure to the body of the user; a pulsed electromagnetic field generator which is provided to the mount frame so as to be independent from the acupressure module, and which generates a pulsed electromagnetic field by means of power applied thereto; and a controller which controls the operation of the acupressure module or the generation of the pulsed electromagnetic field. According to such massage apparatus, a pulsed electromagnetic field may be generated by having the pulsed electromagnetic field generator be provided to the massage unit so as to be separate from the acupressure module or air cells performing a massaging operation. In addition, an effect such as body tissue cell activation or damaged cell healing of the pulsed electromagnetic field may be provided when the massaging operation is being performed. Thus, compared to when only a pulsed electromagnetic field is provided without a massaging operation, or when only a continuous electromagnetic field is provided, fatigue of a user may be alleviated, or a disease or illness treatment or prevention effect may be doubled. In addition, since the pulsed electromagnetic field generator is arranged so as to be independent from the acupres sure module or air cells, the range of effects of the electromagnetic field may be expanded so as to include providing a pulsed electromagnetic field to even nearby sites to which pressure is not applied by the acupressure module or air cells, and since the pulsed electromagnetic field generator may be independently detached or replaced, costs for managing the massage apparatus may be reduced.
