Liquid transfer device with integral telescopic vial adapter for use with infusion liquid container and discrete injection vial
Liquid transfer devices with an integral telescopic vial adapter for use with an infusion liquid container and an initially non-punctured intact discrete injection vial. The integral telescopic vial adapter is configured for initial telescopic snap mounting on a discrete injection vial leaving its injection vial stopper non-punctured until a subsequent compaction for puncturing the injection vial stopper. The integral telescopic vial adapter includes a safety catch mechanism for precluding advertent compaction from a pre-compacted state to a compacted state. The integral telescopic vial adapter includes a clamping arrangement for irreversibly clamping same in its final compacted state.
DRUG MIXING UNIT FOR SYRINGE
A drug mixing unit for a syringe is disclosed. The drug mixing unit contains a barrel member having a first flow path through which a liquid drug is to be pushed in; and a plug member having an insertion part inserted into the barrel member, the insertion part having a second flow path, for drawing out a drug mixture, formed on inner side thereof and a through hole, connected to the second flow path, formed on one surface thereof, wherein the plug member is connected to the barrel member to form a predetermined drug mixing space, the drug mixing space has a drug to be mixed with the liquid drug that has been pushed in through the first flow path. The unit also contain a third flow path, through which the drug mixture flows from the drug mixing space to the through hole.
MIXING VIAL
Various implementations include a mixing vial system. The system includes a hypodermic syringe and a mixing vial. The mixing vial includes a vessel, a stopper, and a dislodgeable plug. The vessel includes an open end, a closed end, and a side wall. A hollow interior chamber is defined by the side wall and the closed end. The open end defines a neck. The stopper includes an open proximal end, a closed distal end, and a stopper side wall. The closed distal end and the stopper side wall define a hollow interior chamber. The stopper is positioned in a sealing relationship within the neck. The dislodgeable plug is positioned in and sealing the open proximal end of the stopper. The closed distal end of the stopper is penetrable by a needle of the hypodermic syringe to dislodge the dislodgeable plug to effect mixing of contents of the stopper and the vessel.
Integrated structure of preparation syringe
An integrated structure of a preparation syringe includes a stretchable piston, a barrel, a needle, an exposed rubber plug, a sealing sheet, a built-in rubber plug, a sealing rubber plug and an engaging rubber plug. One end of the barrel is provided with the stretchable piston, and another end of the barrel is provided with a clamping column. The exposed rubber plug is provided on a side of the stretchable piston away from the barrel. The built-in rubber plug is provided within the barrel. A Scale mark is provided on a circumferential surface of the barrel. The sealing rubber plug is inlaid and sleeved on the clamping column. The sealing sheet is provided on a side of exposed tuber plug away from the barrel. A blunt end is provided at an end of the needle away form a needle tip. The engaging rubber plug is provided outside the blunt end.
Two-chamber carpule
The disclosure provides a two-chamber carpule comprising two-chambers adapted to be joined together. Each chamber is adapted to contain a medicament component. The carpule further comprises a bevel arranged on a circumference of at least one of the chambers in a transition area. The bevel extends from one chamber to the other chamber.
Installation for producing a medical preparation
The invention relates to an installation for producing a medical preparation, in particular for producing a preparation for parenteral nutrition. Liquids are transferred by means of the installation from a plurality of source containers to a target container. The installation comprises a receptacle with drivers for a valve block, wherein the drivers of the valves are arranged offset from one another.
Metered dose topical applicator
A topical applicator of the propel/repel type includes a reservoir, an attachable applicator cap, and a metered dosing system. The reservoir is suitable for mixing a topical formulation of multiple constituents using an electronic mortar and pestle and is closed using the applicator cap. Alternatively, the reservoir may be prefilled with a ready-to-use cream and medicament formulation, then sealed with a removable seal. The topical applicator can include a fast purge feature that overrides the metered dosing system to facilitate removal of air from the reservoir. The topical applicator can also include a one-way ratcheting feature to prevent reverse movement (repel) of the metered dosing system. Metered doses can be dispensed through holes in the applicator cap by rotating a knob, which has detent positions that correspond to discrete doses, and which provides audible and tactile feedback.
Pre-sterilizable carrier system
A method for filling dual-chamber systems in pre-sterilizable carrier systems includes providing at least one washed, siliconized and sterilized dual-chamber system in a magazine. The dual-chamber system includes respective separating elements separating the two chambers from each other. The magazine accommodates at least one dual-chamber system and is arranged in a container that is sealed with a closing element. The method additionally includes introducing the container into a clean room; opening the container and filling a first chamber of the at least one dual-chamber system; and closing the first chamber. The method further includes filling a second chamber of the at least one dual-chamber system; closing the second chamber; and removing the system from the clean room.
STOPPER DEVICE, MEDICAMENT CONTAINER, AND METHOD FOR MIXING TWO SUBSTANCES IN A MEDICAMENT CONTAINER
The invention relates to a stopper device (1) for sealing off a medicament container (45) with a stopper element (3), wherein the stopper device is designed to seal the medicament container (45) in an axial direction of a center axis (M) of the medicament container (45), wherein the stopper device (1) is at least partially insertable into the medicament container (45), and the stopper element (3), in the intended installation position in the medicament container (45), is displaceable along the center axis (M) of the medicament container (45). Provision is made that the stopper device (1) has a retention region (23) with at least one retention means (5), wherein a closure element (7), in a first functional state of the stopper device (1), is retained by the retention means (5) in a fixed position relative to the stopper element (3), in particular retained releasably in a retention position on the stopper element (3), in such a way that a cavity (29) is formed between the closure element (7) and the stopper element (3).
