Concealable feeding tube assembly
A concealable feeding tube assembly includes a tube and a removable member. The tube has an insertion portion and a feeding portion respectively at two ends thereof. The feeding portion is configured for insertion into a nasal cavity of a patient and intercommunicates with the insertion portion. The removable member is detachably attached to the tube and is configured to seal the feeding portion. The removable member includes an abutment portion extending beyond a lateral face of the removable member.

GASTROSTOMY DEVICE WITH AN IMPROVED RETAINING ELEMENT
A gastrostomy device (100) comprises a gastrostomy tube (200), and an inflatable retaining element (300) coupled to the tube (200) at or near a distal end (205) of the tube (200). The retaining element (300) comprises an inner layer (310) made of polyurethane, PUR, and an outer layer (315) made of polyamide, PA.
MEDICAL DEVICE WITH INTEGRATED INSTRUMENT AND RELATED METHODS
A medical device includes a tube comprising a lumen extending from a proximal end to a distal end of the tube, a cap at the distal end of the tube having a distal opening corresponding to the lumen, and an imaging system positioned on a distal-facing surface of the cap. The medical device also includes an instrument at least partially disposed in the lumen that is non-removable from the medical device, an instrument actuation mechanism for controlling the instrument, and a single handle connected to the proximal end of the tube and housing the instrument actuation mechanism. The instrument actuation mechanism, to which a proximal end of the instrument is affixed, may be configured to be moved between a first and second position on the single handle to control an extension and retraction of the instrument relative to the tube.
Locking brakes for enteral feeding tube retention member
The present invention includes an indwelling tube having a plurality of projections extending outwardly from an exterior surface of the tube and a retention member designed to receive the tube. The retention member includes a projection passage to enable the retention member to receive and pass projections through the passage when the projection and passage are aligned so that the retention member can slide axially along the tube. When the projections and passage are out of alignment, the retention member can be secured between two projections. The present invention enables accurate placement of the retention member along the tube to aid in securing the tube at a desired depth in a patient's body. In a certain embodiment, the retention member may include a locking passage to receive and temporarily secure a projection to the retention member.

IMPROVED FEEDING CATHETER
An improved feeding catheter is provided for feeding/recycling chyme to a distal stoma. The improved catheter includes a hollow tube having an end for insertion into stoma, and a second end adapted to be connected to a fluid source. The first end includes a retention feature comprising a plurality of ribs extending outwardly and longitudinally away from the tube and terminating at a nose junction. Web walls extend between at least one pair of adjacent ribs and the ribs further define a side facing opening configured for fluid to exit into the gastrointestinal tract. Further the retention feature can be moved between a relaxed condition and a stretched condition for insertion through the distal opening, wherein the maximum width of the retention feature in the stretched condition is less than the maximum width of the retention feature in the relaxed condition.
