An edible-body marking device (1) has a carrier device (20) that carries an edible body, a detection part (210) that detects the edible body, and a laser processing part (220) that forms a marking pattern on the edible body by using laser light. The carrier device sequentially carries the edible body to the detection part (210) and the laser processing part (220). The detection part images (210) the edible body to acquire orientation information regarding an orientation of the edible body, and the laser processing part (220) has a memory part that stores in advance multiple pieces of marking procedure information regarding formation procedures of the marking pattern in association with their respectively different pieces of the orientation information, and forms the marking pattern on the edible body according to the marking procedure information extracted from the memory part based on the orientation information acquired by the detection part (210).

COMMUNICATION SYSTEM WITH PARTIAL POWER SOURCE

The system of the present invention includes a conductive element, an electronic component, and a partial power source in the form of dissimilar materials. Upon contact with a conducting fluid, a voltage potential is created and the power source is completed, which activates the system. The electronic component controls the conductance between the dissimilar materials to produce a unique current signature. The present disclosure relates to a device for simultaneously performing printing of tablets and inspection on exteriors of the tablets, and provides a device for printing a tablet and inspecting an exterior of the tablet, comprising a transfer unit arranging and transferring tablets supplied from a tablet supplier in a line; a pre-printing image-capturing unit located on a transfer path on which the tablets are transferred to discriminate positions and orientations of the tablets, and disposed to capture images of exteriors of the tablets being transferred; a tablet printing unit located next to the pre-printing image-capturing unit on the transfer path on which the tablets are transferred, and printing the tablets being transferred, in consideration of discriminated results acquired from the images captured by the pre-printing image-capturing unit; and a post-printing image-capturing unit located next to the tablet printing unit on the transfer path on which the tablets are transferred, and capturing images of exteriors of the printed tablets being transferred, to inspect the images or printed results of the printed tablets. According to an embodiment of the present disclosure, a plurality of functions may be performed with a single device, to maximize work efficiency in time and space, and reduce costs.

The sensor includes first and second electrodes, which comprise first and second electrode surfaces, respectively; and circuitry, which (a) is attached to the housing, (b) is electrically coupled to the first and the second electrode surfaces, and (c) is configured to drive a current between the first and the second electrode surfaces.
