Instrumented Medicine Dispenser
The present invention is directed to an instrumented medication dispenser with real-time vital sign monitoring in order to assist patients in managing their medicine intake. It provides various benefits such as assisting patients in maintaining the correct dosing of their medicines, but most important is the ability to monitor the patient's vital signs and provide real time updates to a doctor. It therefore assists patients in the event that a health issue arises, especially in instances where the health issue is related to medicine intake, and providing information and support to health care providers.
NETWORKED CONTAINERS DESIGNED TO PROMOTE COMPLIANCE WITH A MEDICATION REGIMEN
Introduced here are containers designed to promote compliance with regimens for administering the medications stored therein. These containers can facilitate the conveyance of information related to a regimen through the use of a non-written medium. A container may include one or more display elements configured to emit/reflect light to indicate when medication stored in the container should be administered. An example of a display element is a light-emitting diode (LED). Emittance/reflectance of the light by the display element(s) may be governed by a different clock signal than the clock signal used to determine whether doses of medication are due to be administered.
Usage tracking system
Embodiments are generally directed to systems and apparatuses for tracking usage of an item. For example, an apparatus may be provided for tracking use of a packetized item. The apparatus may include a microprocessor, a power source, and a structural layer to which the microprocessor and power source are coupled. The structural layer may include a container that is configured to hold various items. The container may also include an opening that allows access to the items. The apparatus may further include a cover layer that is configured to cover the opening of the container. The cover layer may include at least one bendable sensor placed over the opening of the container. The microprocessor may be configured to determine, using detected movements in the bendable sensor, whether the container has been opened.
Passage device and medication dose management device
A contents passing device according to the present invention includes a passing operation part configured to guide movement of contents, a passing movement part rotatably disposed in the passing operation part and configured to move so that the contents are passed, and a sensing part disposed in the passing operation part and configured to sense contents discharged due to free rotation of one end of the passing movement part, wherein the sensing part detects information on the sensed contents.
INTELLIGENT PILL BOX
The present disclosure provides an intelligent pill box, including a pill box main body, an alarm, and a vibration sensor. The pill box main body is configured to store pills. The alarm is disposed in the pill box main body, and the alarm is configured to remind a user to take the pills. The vibration sensor is disposed on the pill box main body, and the vibration sensor is configured to turn off the alarm when the vibration sensor detects that the pill box main body is rotated. The intelligent pill box may intelligently turn off the alarm, which is convenient for a user to use.
Artificial intelligence robot and method of controlling the same
An artificial intelligence (AI) robot includes a body for defining an exterior appearance and containing a medicine to be discharged according to a medication schedule, a support, an image capture unit for capturing an image within a traveling zone to create image information, and a controller for discharging the medicine to a user according to the medication schedule, reading image data of the user to determine whether the user has taken the medicine, and reading image data and biometric data of the user after the medicine-taking to determine whether there is abnormality in the user. The AI robot identifies a user and discharges a medicine matched with the user, so as to prevent errors. The AI robot detects a user's reaction after medicine-taking through a sensor, and performs deep learning, etc. to learn the user's reaction, to determine an emergency situation, etc. and cope with a result of the determination.
Programable, refillable medication package with scheduled metered dispensing and med unit sensor
A programmable, refillable medication dispenser with scheduled metered medication unit dispensing, includes a main housing, a powered CPU with countdown timer, a multi-unit medication removable refillable cartridge with a (first) lock, a medication release control gate positioned at a medication outlet and connected to a (second) lock being a gate control mechanism, and an in-chamber medication unit sensor. A pharmacist will insert a medicine cartridge into the main housing, locking it in, and will program the CPU to permit a patient to activate dispensing according to a predetermined schedule, and then only when a medication unit is sensed in the chamber. A patient may receive the dispenser and activate medication dispensing according to the programmed schedule and dispense by the timer schedule, only when a medication unit is sensed in the chamber.
REMOTE PATIENT MONITORING AND MEDICATION DELIVERY SYSTEM
The present invention relates to systems and methods for remotely monitoring the health of a patient in a real-time, continuous manner, remotely deliver therapeutic medications to the patient, and facilitating communication between the patient and a remotely located patient care provider.
Medicine management system
There is provided a medicine management system capable of checking a receipt status and a dosage stage of delivered medicines even at a delivery source. The medicine management system includes a management server for managing a receipt status and a dosage status of medicines to be delivered, a first terminal having a function of notifying the management server of information indicating receipt of medicines when the medicines have been received, a second terminal having a function of notifying the management server of information indicating dosage of medicines when the medicines have been taken, and a third terminal having a function of acquiring from the management server and displaying information on a receipt status and a dosage status of medicines.
PILL DISPENSER DEVICE, SYSTEM, AND METHOD
A dosage unit dispenser cap in communication with a biometric sensing module is disclosed. The dosage unit dispenser cap includes a housing adapted to mate with a standard prescription dram vial, a dispensing port, and a computer processor. A dosage unit dispenser system including the dosage unit dispenser cap and the standard prescription dram vial is also disclosed. A system for patient treatment and monitoring including the dosage unit dispenser cap in communication with the biometric sensing module, a central database, and a dispensing system platform is also disclosed. A method of facilitating distribution of a dosage unit by providing the dosage unit dispenser cap is also disclosed.
