SOLID PERSONAL CARE PRODUCT AND PRODUCTION METHOD THEREOF
The present invention provides a solid personal care product comprising: a core layer containing a cleansing or conditioning component; and a skin layer containing a water-soluble or water-dispersible polymer. A solid personal care product produced according to the present invention solves the disadvantage that existing conventional solid cleansing agents or conditioning agents in powder, soap, or other flake form have of the powder scattering, as well as the problem of the cleansing power, conditioning efficacy, and fragrance-preserving property of such agents degrading. Moreover, the contents of the cleansing or conditioning component does not rub off onto the hands of a user even when the user holds the contents in the user's hands, and the shape of the product according to the present invention does not change even in places of high humidity. In addition, this solid personal care product is easy to use, store, and package, while retaining the same functions as those of conventional liquid cleansing and conditioning personal care products.
ANTIVIRAL PREPARATION FROM CHESTNUT SHELLS OF CASTANEA SATIVA MILL
The present invention refers to the use of an extract from chestnut shells (CSE), peeling waste of the chestnut, (fruit of the tree Castanea sativa Mill., European Chestnut), or fractions of said extract, with specific antiviral activity in the treatment and/or prevention of Herpesviridae, Retroviridae, and Coronaviridae infections.
NOVEL SKIN CARE COMPOSITION
The present invention generally relates to the field of skin care. More particularly, the invention relates to a cosmetic or therapeutic skin care composition comprising live bacteria of at least one Cutibacterium acnes (C. acnes) strain in combination with an excipient that specifically supports their viability during storage and/or their ability to replicate after application to the skin. Preferably, the cosmetic or therapeutic skin care composition comprises bacteria of at least one C. acnes strain selected from the group consisting of D1, A5, C1, C3, H1, H2, H3, K1, K2, K4, K6, K8, K9, L1, and F4. The invention also provides a method for treating or preventing acne by applying the skin care composition of the invention to a skin area in need of treatment. The invention also relates to the use of a skin care composition of the invention for treating or preventing acne.
Skincare Composition and Process for Creating Sulforaphane
A skincare composition includes a substance having a predetermined amount of one or more cruciferous vegetables, the predetermined amount of the one or more cruciferous vegetables including stabilized glucoraphanin and active myrosinase in a stable state; exposing the substance to a liquid activator causes a chemical reaction between the stabilized glucoraphanin and the active myrosinase to create sulforaphane in an active product; and applying the activated product to a skin surface allows the sulforaphane to act upon the skin surface.
Scrub sponge and preparation method therefor
Disclosed are a scrub sponge and a preparation method therefor. The method for preparing the scrub sponge includes the operations of: obtaining a first mixture by stirring alkalizer, porogen, konjac powder, scrub granule and water, and filling the first mixture into a mold to form a preform, where the preform includes a first sponge layer; forming a parison by sequentially cooking and freezing the preform; and sequentially unfreezing, dehydrating and drying the parison to obtain the scrub sponge.
Lyophilized formulation of stem cell-derived exosomes and anti-inflammatory composition including the same as active ingredient
The lyophilized formulation of stem cell-derived exosomes and the anti-inflammatory composition including the same as an active ingredient is able to stabilize stem cell-derived exosomes and exhibit excellent anti-inflammatory effects, and particularly, exhibit remarkable anti-inflammatory effects as compared with not-lyophilized stem cell-derived exosomes isolated and purified from conditioned media of stem cells. Therefore, the lyophilized formulation of stem cell-derived exosomes and the anti-inflammatory composition including the same as an active ingredient is able to effectively prevent, suppress, alleviate, ameliorate or treat inflammatory response or inflammatory diseases.
Method for culturing ginseng cell with high content of ginsenoside
A method for culturing ginseng cell with high content of ginsenoside, including inducing ginseng cell line: after disinfected and sliced, ultrasonically treating old mountain ginseng, and culturing the old mountain ginseng in a culture medium; screening the ginseng cell line: choosing a variety of culture mediums and using hormones for cell separation and culture, selecting cell lines with better growth morphology and faster growth, and performing solid subculture and liquid suspension culture; optimizing conversion conditions: using acids to treat the chosen cell lines, and controlling the treatment temperature and treatment time, detecting ginsenosides Rg3 and Rh2 in the dried products, determining an optimal treatment condition according to the highest total amount; large-scale industrial production: according to the optimal treatment condition, performing the liquid suspension culture of the selected cell lines and scaling up the scale of culture to obtain large-scale industrial production of ginseng cell products.
METHOD OF FREEZE DRYING SURFACTANT-STABILIZED MICROBUBBLES
One aspect of the invention provides a method for freeze-drying surfactant-stabilized microbubbles. The method includes: preparing vials comprising a mixture comprising microbubbles; partially submerging the vials in a chilled water bath, wherein the water bath has a sub-freezing temperature; placing the vials on a cooled shelf of a lyophilizer; freeze-drying the vials in the lyophilizer; and capping the freeze-dried vials. Another aspect of the invention provides a method for annealing surfactant-stabilized microbubbles. The method includes: preparing vials comprising a mixture comprising microbubbles; passing the vials in and out of liquid nitrogen (LN.sub.2) until the mixture is frozen; holding the vials at −20° C.; placing the vials on a cooled shelf of a lyophilizer; freeze-drying the vials in the lyophilizer; and capping the freeze-dried vials.
