Bioflavonoid Compositions and Their Use
The present invention relates to pharmaceutical compositions and their use in oral hygiene. More particularly, the compositions comprise one or more flavonoids, such as naringin and neohesperidine and polylysine and/or caprylic acid and/or a zinc salt. Such compositions may be in the form of, for example, a solution, gel, spray, chewing gum or paste suitable for use in the oral cavity. The composition may be used in reducing bacterial numbers on teeth, gums or other surfaces in the oral cavity.
NATURAL SEMI-SOLID PERFUME
A perfumed composition in a solid or semi-solid form, where the composition includes from 5 to 40% by weight of the total weight of the perfume composition, and from 10 to 15% by weight of the total weight of the trihydroxystearin composition. The composition includes a solvent, preferably triethyl citrate. One or more embodiments relate to the field of perfumes and perfumed compositions. It finds advantageous application in the field of fine perfumery, cosmetics, hygiene products to be rinsed off or not, and home fragrances or indoor deodorisers or air fresheners.
EMULSIFIED LIP GEL
The present invention relates to a composition, especially a cosmetic composition, in particular for making up and/or caring for keratin materials, comprising at least one aqueous phase containing at least one non-particulate synthetic polymeric gelling agent, and one oily phase containing at least one silicone elastomer, one silicone resin, and one non-volatile silicone oil comprising at least one dimethicone group, or one non-volatile ester oil, or mixtures thereof.
MOLDED COMPOSITION FOR TOPICAL APPLICATION AND USES THEREOF
The present disclosure provides solid molded formulations comprising an emulsion gel comprising a gel matrix, water and lipophilic droplets comprising one or more emulsifiers and lipophilic material, the lipophilic droplets being dispersed within the gel matrix, wherein the gel matrix is formed of at least one gel forming material that is water insoluble at a temperature below 40° C.; the at least one gel forming material is present at a concentration higher than 1% by weight out of the total weight of the solid molded composition; the lipophilic material is present at a concentration of at least 5% by weight out of the total weight of the solid molded composition; at least 80% of the emulsifiers are solid at room temperature; and the said at least one gel forming material, one or more emulsifiers, lipophilic material and water provide together said solid molded composition with a discrete shape that is deformable upon shearing against a surface. Also disclosed are methods of producing the formulations.
CROSSLINKED HA-COLLAGEN HYDROGELS AS DERMAL FILLERS
The present disclosure relates to a crosslinked macromolecular matrix comprising lysine; hyaluronic acid; and collagen; wherein the hyaluronic acid is crosslinked to the collagen by at least one endogenous amine group on the collagen and/or by at least one amine group present on the lysine.
ANTIPERSPIRANT COMPOSITIONS
An aqueous antiperspirant composition comprising: 1) a metal salt with a M:X mole ratio from about 0.25 to 0.5, wherein X is an anion with a −1 or −2 charge and M is a metal ion with a +2, +3 or +4 charge; 2) an amino acid wherein the M:amino acid mole ratio is from about 5 to about 0.33; and 3) wherein the pH of the composition is from about 2 to about 4.
POLY(ETHYLENE GLYCOL) METHACRYLATE MICROGELS, PREPARATION METHOD AND USES
The invention relates to poly(oligo(ethylene glycol) methacrylate) microgels, to the process for preparing same and the uses thereof in various fields of application such as optics, electronics, pharmacy and cosmetics.
These microgels have the advantage of being monodisperse, pH-responsive and temperature-responsive. They can carry magnetic nanoparticles or biologically active molecules. These microgels may also form transparent films, which have novel optical and electromechanical properties.
ORAL COMPOSITION FOR TOOTH WHITENING PRODUCT, AND KIT COMPRISING SAME
The present invention relates to a composition that acts prior to the action of a tooth whitening composition or tooth whitening patch, the composition containing an oral cavity stimulation alleviating component able to reduce stimulation by the tooth whitening composition or patch. The present invention also relates to a tooth whitening kit whereby oral cavity stimulation is alleviated. The composition that acts prior to the action of a tooth whitening composition or patch of the present invention provides an outstanding tooth whitening effect while alleviating pain by mitigating intra-oral stimulation brought about by the rapid action of a tooth whitening component due to a tooth whitening component active agent.
ANTIPERSPIRANTS HAVING INCREASED EFFECTIVENESS
The present disclosure relates to antiperspirant cosmetic agents, in the case of which the total amount of antiperspirant compounds can be clearly reduced without the antiperspirant effect of said agents or the storage stability of said agents being impaired, comprising—in each case with respect to the total weight of the antiperspirant cosmetic agent—a) 1 to 30 wt % of at least one antiperspirant compound, b) 0.1 to 10 wt % of salicylic acid, c) at least one compound of formula (I), in which n represents 0 or 1, X represents —H, Na+, K+, or NH4+, R1 is selected from —H, —COOX, or —(CH2)—COOX, R2 is selected from —H, C1-10 alkyl, or COOX, R3 is selected from —(CH2)—COOX, —(CH2)2-N[(CH2)—COOX]2, —CH(R1)—COOX, —(CH2)2-NH[CH(COOX)(CH2COOX)], —CH(R4)—C(R5)(R6)—COOX, R4 is selected from —H, C1-10 alkyl, or COOX, and R5 and R6 are, independently of each other, —H, —OH, or C1-10 alkyl.
HYDROGEL COMPOSITION
The present invention relates to a hydrogel composition having excellent gel stability while exerting excellent feeling of use. That is, the present invention relates to a hydrogel composition comprising components (A) to (D) below: (A) water in an amount of 50 mass % or more and 90 mass % or less; (B) an anionic water-soluble polymer compound comprising 80 mass % or more of carboxymethylcellulose or a salt thereof; (C) a crosslinking agent that forms ionic crosslinking with an anionic functional group; and (D) a nonionic water-soluble polymer compound, in an amount of 2.5 mass % or more and 8 mass % or less, represented by formula (1) below:
