METHODS AND COMPOUNDS FOR NATURAL ORGANIC INTENSIVE SKIN REPAIR AND HEALING
The invention includes a skin treatment compound containing aloe vera and methods of use thereof. In one embodiment, the skin treatment compound includes aloe vera, and preferably 30×, 100× or 200× concentrated aloe vera powder, water, a Carbomer such as Ultrez powder, glycerin, lubricating ingredients, sodium hydroxide, Vitamin C, a complex mixture of skin-healing botanicals, Japanese Green Tea Extract, at least one amino acid precursor, a ceramide compound, an antioxidant, a glycosaminoglycan, and a natural preservative, preferably selected from the group consisting of lime oil, orange oil, and bergamot oil.
HYDRATABLE CONCENTRATED SURFACTANT COMPOSITION
The invention is directed to a hydratable concentrated surfactant composition. The composition is pourable, easy to dilute, substantially free of sulfate and oil, comprises a C.sub.6-C.sub.14 acid, alcohol or both, an anionic surfactant comprising acyl isethionate and an amphoteric surfactant, zwitterionic surfactant or both. The composition is in lamellar phase and thickens and transforms to an isotropic phase upon dilution. The composition can be used as a concentrate in small volumes and diluted as used and needed or can be diluted with water in refill packaging to ensure a reduction in plastic waste.
PROCESS FOR THE COSMETIC TREATMENT OF KERATIN FIBRES USING A DETERGENT COMPOSITION AND A RARE EARTH METAL COMPOSITION
The invention relates to a process for the cosmetic treatment of keratin fibres, in particular human keratin fibres such as the hair, implementing the application of a composition comprising at least one surfactant, and the application of a composition comprising a particular metal compound and a conditioning agent chosen from cationic surfactants and/or fatty alcohols.
HIGH-POTENCY VITAMIN C AND SUGAR ALCOHOL TOPICAL FORMULATIONS
Topical formulations of L-ascorbic acid dissolved in a combination of a sugar alcohol agent, and a non-aqueous skin-compatible solvent are provided. The formulations are storage stable for an extended period of time without significant degradation of the L-ascorbic acid in the composition, and have desirable physical properties. The topical formulations can include high concentrations of the L-ascorbic acid. Topical compositions of this disclosure find use in treating or preventing a variety of cosmetic and/or dermatological conditions as well as to reduce the appearance of chronological and/or environmentally-caused skin aging.
FRAGRANCE COMPOSITION, SCENT DISPENSER AND METHOD FOR REDUCING MALODOR
A fragrance composition which reduces malodor during chemical treatment of keratin fibers is described. The keratin fibers may be human keratin fibers, such as human hair. The fragrance compound comprises p-mentha-8-thiol-3-one, cis-3-hexenol, cis-3-hexenyl acetate, and allyl amyl glycolate and further comprises one or more organic solvents selected from the group consisting of benzyl alcohol, dipropylene glycol, isopropyl myristate, and ethanol in an amount of 1% by weight or more, calculated to the total weight of the composition.
