METHODS AND COMPOUNDS FOR NATURAL ORGANIC INTENSIVE SKIN REPAIR AND HEALING
The invention includes a skin treatment compound containing aloe vera and methods of use thereof. In one embodiment, the skin treatment compound includes aloe vera, and preferably 30×, 100× or 200× concentrated aloe vera powder, water, a Carbomer such as Ultrez powder, glycerin, lubricating ingredients, sodium hydroxide, Vitamin C, a complex mixture of skin-healing botanicals, Japanese Green Tea Extract, at least one amino acid precursor, a ceramide compound, an antioxidant, a glycosaminoglycan, and a natural preservative, preferably selected from the group consisting of lime oil, orange oil, and bergamot oil.
HIGH-POTENCY VITAMIN C AND SUGAR ALCOHOL TOPICAL FORMULATIONS
Topical formulations of L-ascorbic acid dissolved in a combination of a sugar alcohol agent, and a non-aqueous skin-compatible solvent are provided. The formulations are storage stable for an extended period of time without significant degradation of the L-ascorbic acid in the composition, and have desirable physical properties. The topical formulations can include high concentrations of the L-ascorbic acid. Topical compositions of this disclosure find use in treating or preventing a variety of cosmetic and/or dermatological conditions as well as to reduce the appearance of chronological and/or environmentally-caused skin aging.
COMPOSITIONS AND METHODS FOR TREATING HOT FLASHES
The present disclosure relates to compositions comprising an aqueous solution of at least about 70% by weight water in combination with selected fatty acid salts and optionally an alcohol and/or a cooling sensate, as well as methods of using the same to treat symptoms of hot flashes. The fatty acid salts form fiber-like crystalline particles that together form a self-supporting mesh structure with voids, the aqueous solution being contained in the voids. When the composition is compressed above a critical stress, the mesh allows for the entrapped aqueous solution to be expressed.
OIL-IN-WATER-TYPE EMULSIFIED COSMETIC
To provide an oil-in-water type emulsified cosmetic comprising a pigment grade hydrophobically treated particle and a hydrophobically treated microparticle, which is capable of uniformly applying particles subjected to hydrophobization treatment on the surface of the skin and exhibiting a good tone-up effect and the like.
The oil-in-water type emulsified cosmetic of the present disclosure comprises a dispersion medium comprising water, and an oil droplet dispersed in the dispersion medium, wherein the dispersion medium comprises a nonionic surfactant, a polyhydric alcohol, and a pigment grade hydrophobically treated particle having an average particle diameter of 300 nm or more, wherein the oil droplet comprises an oil content , a nonionic surfactant, and a hydrophobically treated microparticle having an average particle diameter of 200 nm or less, and wherein the oil content comprises a volatile oil.
Color composition formula and method
The color composition formula and method of the present invention uses a color composition to create colorful environments of single or multi-colored hues. It is possible to make the color composition into various different shapes and forms, and they have several different uses as well.
Composition of pickering emulsion
A composition comprising at least one dispersed fatty phase, and at least one continuous aqueous phase, and comprising: a) at least one hydrophobic gelling agent selected from ester of dextrin and fatty acid; b) at least one amphiphilic crosslinked copolymer; c) at least one anionic terpolymer, linear or branched, of at least one monomer (1) carrying an acid function in free form, partially or totally salified by a nonionic monomer (2) selected from N,N-dimethylacrylamide and 2-hydroxyethyl acrylate, and at least one monomer (3) polyoxethylenated alkyl acrylate of formula (III) wherein in formula (III): R1 represents a hydrogen atom, R represents a linear or branched C.sub.8-C.sub.16 alkyl radical, n is an integer ranging from 1 to 10; and d) at least one hydrophobic particles chosen from hydrophobic silicas, hydrophobic cellulose, starch, talc, silicone resin powders, hollow hemispherical silicone particles, polyamide powders, hydrophobic pigments, or a mixture thereof. ##STR00001##
Oral composition and method
The present invention relates to oral composition and the method of preparation and use of such composition for inhibiting, reducing, and/or disrupting oral biofilm. The composition comprises a stabilizing matrix, a cationic biocide, and a peroxide source.
Topical skin care formulations comprising plant extracts
A method of moisturizing skin of a person is disclosed. The method can include topically applying to the skin of the person a composition comprising an effective amount of an aqueous, alcoholic, or aqueous-alcoholic extract from Parkia biglobosa, wherein the composition moisturizes the skin.
Topical skin formulations
A method of treating skin is disclosed. The method can include topically applying to a peron's skin a composition comprising 0.0001% to 5% w/w of a hydrolyzed algae extract comprising exopolysaccharides from Halymenia durvillei, and 0.0001% to 5% w/w of a saccharide isomerate comprising an exopolysaccharide synthesized by Vibrio alginolyticus, wherein at least one of skin permeability is decreased, filaggrin production is increased, skin moisture is increased, occludin production is increased, or TNFα production is inhibited in the skin.
ISOTROPIC CONCENTRATE AND WASH COMPOSITIONS
The present invention relates to an isotropic concentrate composition that is easy to hydrate and transform into an end use wash composition. The end use wash composition resulting from the concentrate composition is suitable for topical application and for hand washing. The concentrate comprises fragrance oil and emulsifier at levels that unexpectedly result in a concentrate composition and end use composition that are free of ingredient precipitation that interferes with the appearance and usage of the compositions.
