COATED COLOURING SOLID PARTICLES COMPRISING AT LEAST ONE DIRECT DYE AND/OR ONE OXIDATION DYE PRECURSOR
The present application relates to a colouring solid particle for dyeing keratin fibres, in particular human keratin fibres such as the hair, comprising a core containing one or more direct dyes and/or one or more oxidation dye precursors and an upper coating layer covering said core and containing one or more cellulose ethers. The present application also relates to a process for preparing a dye composition comprising one or more colouring solid particles, to a process for the oxidation dyeing of keratin fibres, comprising the application of the composition obtained to said fibres, and to the use of this composition for dyeing keratin fibres.
PROCESS FOR PREPARING A DYE COMPOSITION BY MIXING SOLID PARTICLES AND AN OXIDIZING COMPOSITION AND AN ALKALINE COMPOSITION
The present patent application relates to a process for preparing a composition for dyeing keratin fibres, in particular human keratin fibres such as the hair, comprising a step of mixing several identical or different solid particles comprising one or more dyes, preferably one or more oxidation dye precursors, with an oxidizing aqueous composition, followed by a step of adding an alkaline aqueous composition preferably comprising arginine. The present patent application also relates to a dyeing process using the composition obtained.
MULTIPLE-COMPARTMENT DEVICE COMPRISING AT LEAST ONE INTERNAL FRANGIBLE SEAL CONTAINING A KERATIN FIBERS DYEING COMPOSITION
The present invention relates to a multiple-compartment device (1) composed of a closed envelop (2) divided in at least two distinct compartments (7a) and (7b) separated from one another by at least one internal frangible seal (8), wherein one of the compartments (7a) containing a composition (A), comprising one oxidation dye precursor, one anionic surfactant, one amphoteric surfactant chosen from betaine; and another one of the compartments (7b) containing an oxidizing composition (B) comprising at least one oxidizing agent.
CANNABINOID-COMPRISING COSMETIC COMPOSITIONS
The present technology generally relates to compositions comprising cannabidiol (CBD) or a derivative thereof and at least one active cosmetic ingredient, for use in cosmetics and personal care products such as anti-aging or moisturizing creams for skin care and massage oils for muscle therapy.
EXTRACTS ENRICHED WITH POLYPHENOLIC COMPOUNDS AND RELATED METHODS
In aspects, a cannabis extract enriched in polyphenolic compounds is provided herein. Also provided herein is a method for enriching a composition with polyphenolic compounds as well as compositions made by the method. Various cosmetic and pharmaceutical products, methods, and uses are provided herein as well as natural health products.
COSMETIC COMPOSITION THAT RESISTS PILLING
A pilling-resistant cosmetic composition is in the form of an oil in water emulsion that includes a water phase and an oily phase, and includes at least one cosmetically acceptable polymeric thickener selected from the group consisting of crosspolymers, gums, taurate based polymers, carbomers, polyacrylates, and combinations thereof, at least one ethoxylated agent in liquid form at ambient temperature in a range from about 20° C. to about 28° C. and has an HLB from about 8.5 to about 16; and at least one oil. The pilling-resistant cosmetic composition resists pilling when applied by rubbing or smoothing on a keratinous substrate.
Face peel formulation and method of application
A method of applying a skin peel formulation or product that includes providing a skin peel formulation or product containing at least 10% of the total weight of the skin peel formulation or product being vitamin A. Also provided is vitamin C present in at least 20% of the total weight of the skin peel formulation or product, wherein the vitamin C is in oil soluble form. The skin peel formulation is applied to a region of the body without any acid pre-treatments. After application of the skin peel formulation the user waits at least 25 days before reapplying the skin peel formulation again.
ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY MICROCAPSULES AND A METHOD FOR THE PRODUCTION THEREOF
The present invention is directed to a method for producing advantageous microcapsules. Moreover, the present invention provides microcapsules obtained/obtainable by the method according to the invention.
Personal Care Compositions
Disclosed are alcohol-free personal care compositions, e.g., hand sanitizers, that effectively deposit topically active natural antibacterial compounds (e.g., carvone and thymol) on the skin. In one aspect the disclosure relates to personal care compositions comprising, essential oils (e.g., thymol and carvone), in combination with a carboxylic acid, (e.g., lactic acid), into an alcohol-free product that leads to unexpected benefits with respect to bacterial reduction, e.g., with respect to reduction of S. aureus and E. coli bacteria.
USE OF CANNABINOID COMPOUNDS IN ORAL CARE COMPOSITIONS TO INHIBIT THE GROWTH OF P. GINGIVALIS
Methods of inhibiting the growth of Porphyromonas gingivalis (“P. gingivalis”) in the oral cavity using cannabinoid compounds are described herein. The cannabinoid compounds can include one or more of cannabinol cannabigerol (“CBG”), cannabigerolic acid (“CBGA”), cannabidiolic acid (“CBDA”), and (+)-cannabidiol (“((+)-CBD”), cannabichromene (“CBC”), cannabinol (“CBN”), cannabidivarin (“CBDV”), cannabidol (“CBD”), cannabidol-C.sub.4 (“CBD-C.sub.4”), cannabigerivarin (“CBGV”), cannabigerol butyl (“CBG-C4”), cannabichromenic acid (“CBCA”), cannabicyclolic acid (“CBLA”), and cannabinolic acid (“CBNA”), cannabidol-C.sub.2 (“CBD-C.sub.2”) and cannabigerolic acid butyl (“CBGA-C4”).
