The present invention is intended to provide an oily makeup cosmetic that is colorless in appearance but develops a color on application onto body surface, such as skin and lips. The present invention provides a colorless oily makeup cosmetic comprising (a) one or two dyes selected from Red No. 218 and Red No. 223, and (b) an oil agent, and a mixture of the component (a) and the component (b) at a mass ratio (a):(b) of 0.1:100 has a difference of 0.2 or less between the maximum absorbance and the minimum absorbance in a wavelength region of 500 to 600 nm. The oily makeup cosmetic may develop a color due to the component (a) on application onto body surface, such as skin and lips.

HAIR DYEING PROCESS USING AT LEAST ONE DIRECT AND/OR NATURAL DYE, A TITANIUM SALT, A CELLULOSE-BASED POLYSACCHARIDE AND OPTIONALLY A PARTICULAR ORGANIC SOLVENT

The present invention relates to a process for dyeing keratin fibres, in particular human keratin fibres such as the hair, in which said fibres are treated using one or more cosmetic compositions comprising a) one or more dyes chosen from synthetic direct dyes and dyes of natural origin, b) one or more titanium salts and b1) optionally one or more particular carboxylic acids, c) one or more cellulose-based polysaccharides, d) optionally one or more organic compounds that are liquid at 25° C., with a Hansen solubility parameter value δH<16 (MPa).sup.1/2 at 25° C., e) optionally one or more chemical oxidizing agents such as hydrogen peroxide or one or more hydrogen peroxide-generating systems.

METHOD FOR TREATING AND COLORING HAIR COMPRISING UN-PIGMENTED HAIR

Described herein is a method for treating and coloring hair including un-pigmented hair. The method includes (a) providing a first composition including one or more heavy metal ion sequestrants; (b) applying the first composition to the hair; (c) providing a second composition including one or more weak acids having a pKa from 2.5 to 5; (d) applying the second composition to the hair; (e) providing a third composition including one or more direct dyes chosen from nitro dye, disperse dye, cationic dye, acid dye, basic dye, neutral azo dye and mixtures thereof, and (f) applying the third composition to the hair. The third composition is able to decrease the reflectance of un-pigmented hair in a wavelength range from 530 nm to 670 nm.
