Stable Microcapsule Compositions
Disclosed are stable microcapsule compositions each containing a microcapsule dispersed in an aqueous phase and a stabilizing agent. The microcapsule compositions are stable for at least 4 weeks when storing at 45° C., and the microcapsule composition is considered stable when (i) the composition has a viscosity of 3000 cP or less and (ii) 20% or less water by volume of the composition is separated from the composition. Also disclosed are consumer products having such a stable microcapsule composition.
Methods of removing spores comprising alcohol, acrylate copolymer particles, and a cationic coated article
Disclosed herein are methods that include contacting a skin surface with a first liquid composition; and then contacting in the skin surface with a cationic coated article loaded with a second liquid composition, while at least some portion of the first liquid composition remains on the skin surface, wherein one or both of the first liquid composition or the second liquid composition includes acrylate copolymer particles dispersed therein, the acrylate copolymer particles including the reaction product of a reaction mixture, the reaction mixture including monomers, the monomers including from about 5 wt % to about 50 wt % of at least one high Tg monomer where the wt % of the high Tg monomer is with respect to the total weight of the monomers in the reaction mixture; and from about 20 wt % to about 80 wt % of at least one low Tg monomer where the wt % of the low Tg monomer is with respect to the total weight of the monomers in the reaction mixture, wherein the particles have a number average diameter of at least about 100 nm and wherein at least one and only one of the first or the second composition comprises greater than or equal to 60 wt % of at least one alcohol.

Core-shell microcapsule with a polyamine-based thermosetting shell
A core-shell microcapsule comprising a core containing a functional ingredient and a shell surrounding or at least partially surrounding said core, the shell comprising a thermosetting resin formed by the reaction of shell-forming monomers comprising a polyamine and a material comprising a plurality of olefinic double bonds capable of reacting with the polyamine.
Organic Compounds
Disclosed is a composition comprising at least one core-shell microcapsule in a suspending medium. The microcapsule comprises a core and a shell around said core. The shell comprises a hyperbranched polysaccharide selected from the group consisting of amylopectins, dextrins, hyperbranched starches, glycogen and phytoglycogen and mixtures thereof.

ARTIFICIAL MELANIN NANOPARTICLES AND PRECURSOR MOLECULES AS HAIR DYES
Aspects of the invention include a method of treating hair of a subject with an artificial melanin material comprises contacting in a solution artificial melanin precursors with an oxidizing agent at a temperature greater than or equal to 30° C. in the presence of the hair of the subject to form the artificial melanin material; wherein the artificial melanin material associates with the hair of the subject, thereby treating the hair of the subject. Optionally, the contacting step results in deposition of the artificial melanin material on the hair of the subject and/or uptake of the artificial melanin material into the hair of the subject.
