COSMETIC PRODUCT ENRICHED WITH BIOACTIVE COMPONENTS OF PROPOLIS WITH DIRECT EXTRACTION FROM BEESWAX SPRAYED WITH PROPOLIS TINCTURE AND METHOD OF PRODUCTION THEREOF
Cosmetic products with a high concentration of propolis bioactive components produced using a new method that achieves increased concentration of, beneficial for skin health, phenolic components. The increase in the concentration of bioactive components is achieved by incorporating a piece of beeswax of specific dimensions into the cosmetic product after having been sprayed with propolis tincture. In the cosmetic product the extraction of the bioactive components of the propolis (terpenes, phenolic components) takes place assisted by the surfactants of the cosmetic product.
BLEND OF BEESWAX AND A LACTYLATE ESTER
Suggested is a mixture for improving the sun protection of compositions comprising UV filters, the mixture consisting of (a) beeswax; and (b) at least one lactylate ester.
HAIR CARE COMPOSITIONS
Hair care compositions and methods for providing conditioning benefits to hair is disclosed. The hair care compositions may include one or more nonionic surfactants comprising one or more alkylpolyglucosides; one or more fatty alcohols; one or more fatty esters comprising caprylic/capric triglyceride; about 0.5 to about 30 wt. % of a fatty compound other than fatty alcohol and fatty ester; one or more silicones comprising polysilicone-11; one or more thickening agents; and water, wherein the hair care composition is an emulsion, and all weight percentages are based on the total weight of the hair care composition.
Systems and methods for preparing wax and lipid particles
The system can include: a conduit having a first dimension with an inlet and outlet; an extruder having an inlet and an outlet located within the conduit, an extruder orifice having a second dimension that is smaller than the first dimension; a carrier fluid reservoir coupled with the conduit inlet; an extruder reservoir coupled with the extruder inlet; and a particle collector fluidly coupled with the conduit outlet, wherein the particle collector has a collector inlet with a first temperature and a collector outlet with a second temperature. The method can include flowing carrier fluid through the extrudate conduit; extruding wax with the extruder into the carrier fluid that is flowing through the extrudate conduit such that the extrudate separates into extrudate segments separated from each other by carrier fluid segments; and flowing the extrudate into the particle collector so as to form wax particles.
COSMETIC MASK FOR APPLICATION TO THE SKIN, AND METHOD FOR APPLYING SAME
The inventions relate to cosmetology and are intended to increase a cosmetic effect. A mask comprises a cream-type cosmetic agent and an additional reagent, which are isolated from one another. The agent contains a water-soluble biocompatible polymer which has a mass in the range of 50,000-1,000,000 Da and is capable of entering into a cross-polymerisation reaction. The reagent consists of a substance-electrolyte solution containing multicharged ions. The mass ratio of polymer and substance-electrolyte is from 10:1 to 1:1 respectively. A method involves separately applying to the skin the cream-type agent and then the additional reagent on top.
OIL-IN-WATER EMULSION COMPRISING A SOLID LIPID MATERIAL
The present invention relates to the field of delivery systems. More specifically, the invention concerns an oil-in-water emulsion comprising a solid lipid material in combination with a liquid oil-soluble active material, preferably an arthropod control agent. The present invention also describes a process for preparing said emulsion and consumer products comprising said emulsion.
JUST SUNSCREEN
A topical sunscreen composition including a lotion having titanium dioxide, zinc oxide, water, avocado oil, sunflower oil, bee's wax, coconut oil, monolaurin, stearyl dimethicone, cetylesters, ethyl linoleate, triethyl citrate, fragrance and Lecithin. In another aspect, there is disclosed a topical sunscreen composition including a lotion having zinc oxide, water, avocado oil, zeolite, bee's wax, coconut oil, monolaurin, ethyl linoleate, bentonite, tri ethyl citrate, fragrance and Lecithin.
AQUEOUS COMPOSITION COMPRISING A CATIONIC CELLULOSIC POLYMER, AN ANIONIC SURFACTANT COMPRISING AT LEAST ONE CATIONIC COUNTERION, A FATTY PHASE AND A PIGMENT
The present application relates to a composition comprising, notably in a physiologically acceptable medium: a. water; and b. at least one cellulosic cationic polymer (CP); and c. at least one anionic polymer (AP) chosen from methacrylic acid homopolymer salts; and d. at least one anionic surfactant comprising at least one cationic counterion; and e. a fatty phase; and f. at least one pigment; the weight ratio of the total amount of cellulosic cationic polymer(s)/the sum of the total amount of cellulosic cationic polymer(s) and of the total amount of anionic polymer(s) ranging from 40% to 80%, preferably from 60% to 70%; the weight ratio of the sum of the total amount of cellulosic cationic polymer(s) and of the total amount of anionic polymer(s)/the amount of water ranging from 5% to 20%. The invention also relates to a process for coating keratin materials, in particular the skin, notably the contour of the eyes, eyelashes or eyebrows, and keratin fibers, such as the eyelashes and/or the eyebrows, comprising a step of applying to said keratin materials at least one composition as defined above.
Topical cream-based cosmetic and wound healing formulations and methods of use
A cream formulation or topical use made of a mixture of naturally occurring biologically active phytochemical compounds that possess a variety of beneficial animal and human health effects. An extract from an aqueous extraction process or other active ingredients could be used in the cream formulation. The present invention generally provides for the preparation of cream formulations containing active ingredients that contain individually, or in combination, an analgesic, natural product extracts, or a protein or proteins from the tripartite motif family of proteins (TRIM). The analgesic will provide mitigation of pain during the healing process.
