The invention relates to an extracorporeal blood treatment device comprising a hydraulic system II comprising a plurality of flow paths, the blood treatment device having a control unit 40 which provides an operating mode for disinfecting the hydraulic system with a liquid which can be supplied via one of the flow paths. Moreover, the invention relates to a method for operating an extracorporeal blood treatment device with a hydraulic system comprising a plurality of flow paths. The blood treatment device according to the invention is characterized in that the hydraulic system II has a valve device 23 which provides several switching positions. The valve device 23 has an inlet 25A for the liquid for disinfecting the hydraulic system and a plurality of outlets 26A, 27A, 28A, wherein in a switching position the inlet 25A is connected to one of the outlets 26A, 27A, 28A and in another switching position the inlet is connected to a plurality of outlets 26A, 27A, 28A. The inlet 25A of the valve device 23 is in fluid communication with the flow path via which liquid for disinfecting the hydraulic system II can be supplied, and the outlets 26A, 27A, 28A of the valve device 23 are in fluid communication with another flow path of the hydraulic system, so that liquid can simultaneously be supplied to the individual flow paths.
Extracorporeal Blood Treatment Device And Method For Operating An Extracorporeal Blood Treatment Device
An extracorporeal blood treatment device is provided that includes a hydraulic system having a plurality of flow paths. A control unit provides an operating mode for disinfecting the hydraulic system with a liquid supplied via one of the flow paths. A method for operating the extracorporeal blood treatment device is also provided. The hydraulic system has a valve device that provides several switching positions. The valve device has an inlet for a liquid for disinfecting the hydraulic system, and a plurality of outlets. In a first switching position, the inlet is connected to one of the outlets. In another switching position, the inlet is connected to a plurality of the outlets. The inlet of the valve device is in fluid communication with a first flow path and the outlets are in fluid communication with another flow path. Disinfecting liquid can simultaneously be supplied to the individual flow paths.
Indirect drain flush system for dialysis effluent
An indirect drain flush system incorporating hot water to facilitate the transport of kidney dialysis effluent to wastewater treatment facilities is provided. Heated water is discharged into a waste line through an air gap, and the heated water increases the molecular interchange of fatty substances in the dialysis effluent, decreasing the viscosity of those fatty substances and preventing them from coagulating or crystalizing on pipes and drains. An air admittance valve may prevent negative pressure from building up within the system.

The computer can electronically read a prescription for a patient, electronically identify a quantity of the peritoneal dialysis solution from the prescription, and electronically identify a peritoneal dialysis set from the peritoneal dialysis sets for use with the identified quantity of the peritoneal dialysis solution. The treatment station can allow an identified peritoneal dialysis set to be fluidly connected to the peritoneal dialysis solution supply so that the identified quantity of the peritoneal dialysis solution may be metered from the dialysis solution supply to the patient to perform a peritoneal dialysis treatment at the facility and according to the prescription.
DIALYSIS SOLUTION PRODUCTION DEVICE
The apparatus (1) for manufacturing dialysate includes a reverse osmosis membrane treatment device (9), a dialysate supply device (26), a dialysis device (40) supplied with the dialysate (27) from the dialysate supply device (26), and a hydrogen dissolution device (6) interposed between the dialysate supply device (26) and the dialysis device (40) and configured to dissolve hydrogen gas in the dialysate (27). The hydrogen dissolution device (6) includes an air supply module (7) connected to the dialysate supply device (26) and configured to dissolve hydrogen gas in the dialysate (27), and a hydrogen supply device (8) connected to the air supply module (7) and configured to supply hydrogen gas to the air supply module (7).

The present invention relates to a concentrate container having a concentrate that is configured to form a dialysis solution after its dilution with a diluting agent, in particular with water, wherein the concentrate container is in communication with a first connector having a first code that contains at least one piece of information on the concentrate; and wherein the concentrate container is furthermore in communication with a second connector whose second code differs from the first code, with the second code containing at least one piece of information on the dialysis solution.
