INHALER ARTICLE WITH A TWISTED DISTAL END ELEMENT
An inhaler article (110) comprises a body (112) extending along a longitudinal axis (A) from a mouthpiece end (113) to a distal end (114), a capsule cavity (116) defined within the body, and a distal end element (118) disposed at the distal end and extending to the capsule cavity. The distal end element comprises an element distal end (120), an element inner end (122), a solid core portion (124), and at least two grooves (126). The solid core portion extends from the element distal end to the element inner end. The at least two grooves are helical grooves that rotate about solid core portion along the longitudinal axis from the element distal end to the element inner end. The at least two helical grooves extend along an outer surface (128) of the distal end element.
Dry powder nebulizer
A dry powder delivery device may be configured to provide micronized dry powder particles to airways of a user. The device may include a cylindrical container delimiting a chamber containing at least one magnetically-responsive object, a motor external to said chamber, a magnet external to the chamber and rotatably coupled with the motor, and an outflow member configured to direct airflow to a user. The magnetically-responsive object may be coated with micronized dry powder particles, and the motor may be operable to rotate the magnet about an axis. Rotation of the magnet creates a magnetic field that causes the magnetically-responsive object to move in response to the magnetic field and collide with a side wall of the container to deaggregate the dry powder particles and aerosolize the dry powder in the chamber.
DRUG VAPORIZATION AND INHALATION DEVICE
Disclosed is a drug vaporization and inhalation device. The present invention is configured such that when an infected patient with asthma, a coronavirus, or the like inhales a particulate drug, the drug is contained in vaporized steam, and therefore, the drug can sufficiently arrive at the lungs of the infected patient with asthma, a coronavirus, or the like, without loss, thereby preventing a given amount of the drug from remaining in an inhalation container and improving the drug inhalation efficiency of the infected patient with asthma, a coronavirus, or the like along with prevention of excessive inhalation of the drug.
Dispersion anaesthetic device
The invention concerns a cartridge for an inhalation device for delivering anaesthetic to a human or animal wherein anaesthetic in the cartridge is dispersed in an anaesthetic control release medium; an inhalation device for use with the cartridge and a formulation including at least one selected anaesthetic and anaesthetic control release medium.
APPARATUS AND METHODS FOR MULTI-CHAMBER VAPORIZATION DEVICES WITH VAPORIZATION SUBSTANCE MIXING
A vaporization device includes a mixer to receive and mix vaporization substances to form a vaporization substance mixture, and an atomizer, in fluid communication with the mixer, to vaporize the vaporization substance mixture. The mixer is an active mixer in some embodiments, and could include a stirring element such as a stirring element that is driven by an electric motor, a magnetic stirring element, or an acoustic stirring element. The mixer could also or instead include a passive mixer with multiple mixing elements to mix the vaporization substances and form the vaporization substance mixture.
INHALER DETECTION
An inhaler having an air inlet, a medicament source, and an outlet for delivering an air and medicament admixture to a user, the inhaler including a primary power supply for powering the controller and a sensor for detecting a recent shake event, wherein, the sensor is independent of the primary power source and, in use, the sensor provides the controller with a signal indicative of any recent shake event upon the powering up of the controller prior to use of the inhaler.
MEDICINAL NEBULIZER AND METHOD OF DISPENSING MEDICAMENT
A nebulizer for medicament is provided. The nebulizer includes a cup having an interior surface. An axle is attached to the cup at least at a location along a central axis of the cup such that rotation of the axle causes a rotation of the cup about the central axis. A fan is operably attached to the axle and configured to generate a flow of air adjacent to the cup. A drum is disposed around a circumference of the cup, and configured to contain the generated flow of air near the cup. A conduit is configured to receive liquid medicament and deposit such medicament on a surface of the cup.
STANDALONE HERB PROCESSING, VAPORIZING, AND ADMINISTRATION APPARATUSES, SYSTEMS, AND METHODS
An herb vaporizing apparatus includes an herb receiving port, a grinder to grind the herb, and a heating chamber for heating the ground herb to create a vapor. A first end of the heating chamber is positioned closer to a top of the apparatus than a second end of the heating chamber, such that the ground herb generally moves in at least a partially downward direction as it travels through the heating chamber. The apparatus further includes a screw feeder positioned within the heating chamber that rotates and moves the ground herb within the heating chamber. The apparatus further includes an air pump for pumping vapor out of the heating chamber and a valve positioned along an airway between the heating chamber and a vapor output. The valve permits air and the vapor to move from the heating chamber to the vapor output only while the air pump is activated.
