CHARGER FOR A VAPORIZER DEVICE
A charging system for charging a vaporizer device is described. The charger may be adapted to control the output voltage to the vaporizer device, thus improving charging efficiency and reducing waste heat generation. Related systems, methods, and articles of manufacture are also described.
AN AEROSOL-GENERATING ARTICLE COMPRISING A BARRIER
An aerosol-generating article for an aerosol-generating system is provided, the article including: a storage portion having an outlet; an aerosol-forming substrate contained within the storage portion; and a vaporisable barrier to seal the outlet, in which the barrier includes one or more polymers, has a polymer content of greater than or equal to 1 percent by weight, is configured to be vaporised during a first heating cycle of the article during first use of the article in the system, further includes one or more metal salts, and the salts are selected from the group consisting of metal alginates, metal benzoates, metal cinnamates, metal cycloheptanecarboxylates, metal levulinates, metal propanoates, metal stearates, and metal undecanoates. An aerosol-generating system, and a method of manufacturing an aerosol-generating article, are also provided.
SYSTEM FOR MANAGING INHALANT AND BREATH ANALYSIS DEVICES
A computer-based system for receiving, analyzing, processing, managing and sending personal health information, and other information in conjunction with use of one or more personal nebulizer or vaporizing devices and personal breath analysis devices. System devices include a personal nebulizer or vaporizing unit with a mouthpiece, which may be detachable and replaceable. The mouthpiece includes an orifice through which vapor is emitted. The substance to be vaporized is contained in an ampoule inserted into the device, where the substance enters an atomization chamber where vaporization is achieved through piezoelectric transducers or atomizers providing sonic or ultrasonic vibration. The substance includes a variety of therapeutic, homeopathic, or naturopathic formulations, remedies, or serums.
Dry powder inhaler
A dry powder inhaler for a capsule containing dry powder, the inhaler comprising a housing having a capsule receptacle, two actuator buttons arranged on opposing sides of the housing and two perforation needles, each needle being fixedly connected to an actuator button and movable relative to the housing towards each other from a normal position to a perforation position along an actuation direction to perforate a capsule arranged in the capsule receptacle, wherein a first end of each actuator button is connected to the housing at a lower portion of the housing and in that a second free end of each actuator button is movable into the perforation position such that the perforation needle is moved along a circular line.
Electronic device for producing an aerosol for inhalation by a person
An electronic device for producing an aerosol for inhalation by a person includes a mouthpiece located at one of opposite longitudinal ends of the device; a liquid container; a transducer that, when actuated, causes a liquid from the container to be aerosolized such that the aerosol may be inhaled from the device by a person through the mouthpiece; and circuitry and a power supply for actuating the transducer. The mouthpiece, the container, and the transducer are located in-line along a longitudinal axis of a housing of the device extending between the opposite longitudinal ends of the device. The container is located between and separates the transducer and the mouthpiece. The container and the transducer are contained within a cartridge that is insertable into and removable from the housing of the device. The container and the transducer are replaceable by the person when the liquid in the container is depleted.
Dry powder inhaler
A dry powder inhaler with a blister folding device can include a housing to receive a single blister containing a dose of medicament for inhalation by a user, and a mouthpiece through which a dose of medicament is inhaled by a user and a blister opening device. The blister opening device can include a blister support element for supporting a blister containing a dose of medicament for inhalation by a user, and a blister folding element co-operable with the blister support element. The blister folding element and the blister support element can be movable relative to each other between a first position, for insertion of the blister into or onto the blister support element, and a second, burst, position in which the blister folding element has co-operated with the blister support element.
Electronic atomizing device and atomizer and a liquid injection structure thereof
The disclosure relates to an electronic atomizing device and an atomizer and a liquid injection structure thereof. The liquid injection structure includes an outer pipe provided with an exhaust port and a liquid injection assembly including a sleeve pipe disposed in the outer pipe and a liquid injection pipe disposed in the sleeve pipe. The liquid injection pipe is provided with a liquid injection port, and is axially movable relative to the sleeve pipe between a first position where the sleeve pipe seals the liquid injection port and a second position where the seal of the liquid injection port by the sleeve pipe is released. The sleeve pipe is axially movable relative to the outer pipe between a third position where the sleeve pipe seals the exhaust port and a fourth position where the seal of the exhaust port by the sleeve pipe is released.
Aerosol Generation Device
An aerosol generation device comprises a chamber, a housing and a cover. The chamber is adapted to receive a consumable. The housing contains the chamber and comprises an opening through which the consumable can be removed from the chamber. The cover is configured to move between an open position where the opening of the housing is exposed and a closed position where the opening of the housing is closed. The aerosol generation device is adapted to generate an inhalable vapor from the consumable. The cover comprises one or more dislodging elements adapted to dislodge the consumable such that, when the cover moves from the closed position to the open position: an attachment is weakened between the chamber and the consumable, and the consumable is partially ejected from the chamber without becoming attached to the cover.
METERED DOSE INHALER WITH MOUTHPIECE EXTENSION
A metered dose inhaler includes ring body open at both ends, the ring body adapted to house a pressurized canister of medicine, an actuator ring including two or more external spring housings containing springs seated and aligned with spring seats formed on a cap attached to the distal end of the ring body the actuator ring fitting over the ring body in concentric fashion partially housing the ring body, the actuator ring having an actuator form fixed to an inside surface thereof to actuate a canister stem installed on the pressurized canister by urging the actuator ring against spring tension over the ring body toward the cap displacing a canister stem to break seal and dispense a dose of medicine.
DOUBLE ACTIVATION PREVENTION
A holder for an inhaler article that includes a sleeve positioned within a housing cavity, a piercing element, and a lockout mechanism. The sleeve comprises a sleeve cavity arranged to receive the inhaler article. The sleeve is movable within the housing cavity between a first and second position. The piercing element is arranged to pierce the inhaler article received within the sleeve when the sleeve is moved from the first position to the second position. The lockout mechanism comprises a guide, a follower member coupled to the sleeve, and a retaining section. The follower member is arranged to move along the guide into the retaining section as the sleeve moves from the second position and back to the first position. The retaining section is arranged to hold the follower member when the sleeve has returned back to the first position, thus retaining the sleeve in the first position.
