ASSEMBLY, CASSETTE AND MEDICAMENT DELIVERY DEVICE
An assembly for receiving a medicament container having a container carrier extending along a longitudinal axis, the container carrier having a carrier body, and a flexible carrier arm extending from the carrier body substantially parallel with the longitudinal axis; and a rotator comprising a hollow rotator body and a through hole which extends substantially parallel with the longitudinal axis, wherein the container carrier is arranged to receive the rotator such that the carrier arm extends through the through hole, and wherein the rotator is arranged to rotate about the longitudinal axis and relative to the container carrier. A cassette and a medicament delivery device are also provided.
NEEDLE PROTECTION DEVICE COMPRISING SYRINGE CENTRING FEATURES AND DISASSEMBLY LOCK
A safety device for a syringe is described. The safety device includes a housing having a main body that receives a syringe, a flange support that supports a flange of the syringe, and prevents or limits distal movement of the syringe relative to the housing, a needle shield including a sleeve telescopically arranged with respect to the housing such that the needle shield can slide over the housing between an extended position in which a needle tip is covered and a retracted position in which the needle tip is exposed. The device also includes syringe centering features and/or a disassembly lock.
MEDICAMENT DELIVERY DEVICE
A medicament delivery device for a mixing process to create a therapeutic substance for delivery within a multi-chambered cartridge, the delivery device includes a distal part with a dose setting mechanism having a housing, a dose setting knob, an injection button, a piston rod capable of moving axially along the longitudinal axis of the housing during dose delivery, and a return ring configured to reset the piston rod to a starting position. The delivery device also includes a proximal part including a cartridge holder configured to accept a multi-chambered cartridge, the cartridge holder including a screw driven sleeve configured for attachment to the distal part and rotation of the screw driven sleeve performing a medicament mixing process within the multi-chambered cartridge.
Multiple use computerized injector
A computer-controlled injector for use with a medicament cartridge and including a housing having a medicament cartridge receiving volume and a medicament cartridge insertion and removal opening communicating with the medicament cartridge receiving volume; a pivot mount element mounted onto the housing for selectably enabling access to the medicament cartridge receiving volume via the opening; a mechanical latch selectably locking the pivot mount element in a closed operative orientation; and an injection drive mechanism including a computer-controlled motor for driving a piston, forming part of the medicament cartridge, for injecting a medicament, the computer-controlled motor also being operative for operating the mechanical latch.
SYRINGE HOLDER
A syringe holder for an autoinjector is presented having a tubular body extending around an axis in a circumferential direction and along the axis in an axial direction, the tubular body having a cut-out extending from a distal end of the tubular body and a flexible expansion joint extending across the cut-out in the circumferential direction. The tubular body can also have an inner surface and an outer surface, a first cut-out in the tubular body, the first cut-out extending in an axial direction from a proximal end of the tubular body and either a recess in the inner surface of the tubular body, the recess extending in the axial direction from the distal end of the tubular body, or a second cut-out in the tubular body, the second cut-out extending in the axial direction from a distal end of the tubular body.
Substance dispensing device with signaling device
Device for dispensing a substance having: a dispensing element through which the substance can be dispensed, a displaceable protective element for the dispensing element, a drive element that is coupled with the protective element and a feedback element which can generate a signal when or after a predefined quantity or the entire quantity of the substance to be dispensed has been dispensed characterized in that the feedback device is coupled with the drive element.
KEYED CONNECTORS
A set of at least two drug delivery devices includes a first drug delivery device and a second drug delivery device, The first and second drug delivery devices each include a first set of mutual members that are identical, and the first drug delivery device and the second drug delivery device each include a second set of distinguishing members that differ. The first drug delivery device includes a first connection device for attaching a first dispensing unit to the first drug delivery device and the second drug delivery device includes second connection device for attaching a second dispensing unit to the second drug delivery device, the first and second connection devices differ from each other so that the second dispensing unit is not attachable to the first connection device and the first dispensing unit is not attachable to the second connection device.
Housing with syringe holding feature
A securing device for an injection device which receives a syringe with a proximal end portion having a radially outwardly projecting flange, has a body with proximal and distal end portions, an opening for accepting the syringe, an outer surface, and a proximal end surface for contacting a distally-facing surface of the flange when the syringe is advanced distally, preventing further advancement. A securing arm includes a free end; a base end fixed to the outer surface; a first portion extending radially outwardly from the base end to permit the flange to pass; and a second portion extending radially inwardly in a rest position, contacting the flange as the syringe is advanced. The securing arm is elastically flexible to allow the free end to move radially outwardly, allowing the advancing flange to pass, and is biased to the rest position to secure the flange and the syringe against proximal movement.
