The present disclosure relates to an injection device, in particular a micro dose injection device such as, for example, an ophthalmic injection device. An example device comprises a rotatable plunger; a solution receptacle having a first end configured to slidably receive the rotatable plunger and a second end configured to dispense solution contained in the solution receptacle; a first stop member configured to prevent the rotatable plunger from being slidably displaced to a second position while the rotatable plunger is at a first position and in a first orientation; and a second stop member configured to prevent the rotatable plunger from rotating in a first direction about the first axis while the rotatable plunger is at the first position and in the first orientation, wherein slidably displacing the rotatable plunger from the first position to the second position dispenses a quantity of the solution contained in the solution receptacle.

Syringe adapter for medication
11707579 · 2023-07-25 ·

Improved apparatus for use with medication in fluid form, which is particularly beneficial for medications having a relatively high viscosity. The disclosed syringe adapter has an opening that is relatively large, as compared to a conventional needle, and thus affixing the disclosed syringe adapter to a syringe improves syringeability of higher-viscosity medications. Some embodiments feature a lateral extension that prevents inserting the syringe adapter too far into a medicine bottle, and some embodiments feature a component that assists in firmly grasping. When the disclosed syringe adapter is affixed to a pistol-grip or tab-handled syringe, the medication withdrawn into the pistol-grip syringe can be more easily administered from the syringe barrel. In some embodiments, the syringe adapter will be replaced with a needle prior to injecting the medication, while in some other embodiments, the needle is affixed to the in-place syringe adapter for the injection. In yet other embodiments, the needle is affixed to a needle holder that, in turn, is affixed to the in-place syringe adapter for the injection.

SYRINGE WITH PRIMING MECHANISM
20230233771 · 2023-07-27 ·

Syringes are described herein. A syringe includes a syringe body, a first plunger, a biasing member, and a retention member. The syringe body defines a syringe cavity and a syringe port, wherein the syringe port is in fluid communication with the syringe cavity. The first plunger comprises a first plunger shaft extending from the first plunger, the first plunger disposed within the syringe cavity and defining a first chamber in the syringe cavity, wherein the first chamber is in fluid communication with the syringe port. The biasing member is coupled to the first plunger shaft, wherein the biasing member urges the first plunger to advance toward the syringe port. The retention mechanism prevents the biasing member from advancing the first plunger in an engaged position and permits the biasing member to advance the first plunger in a released position.

Self Injectable, Pre-Filled Syringes, Vials and Combinations Thereof

A syringe for injecting liquid medicine into a body, having its needle inside said syringe liquid holding barrel, pointed at one end of the syringe barrel which rests on user's skin when injecting, which end is sealed to hold the liquid inside the barrel of said syringe by a rubber like seal, through which seal said needle's sharp tip can exit when the needle is pressed towards the body via the other end of the barrel, which needle has conduit(s) near the other end of the needle to let said liquid into the inner tube of the needle to exit via said tip when the liquid is pressured as the needle is pushed into the user's body, which syringe can be prefilled during manufacturing, so that the syringe acts as a vial too, enabling self administration upon unpacking.

Apparatus, system and method for fluid delivery

A filling aid device for filling a reservoir. The device includes a cover portion comprising a septum window; a slider beam comprising a septum cover; and a first filling aid tab attached to the slider beam, the first filling aid tab in slidable relation to the cover from a first position to a second position, wherein when the filling aid device is in an unlocked position, the septum cover is located below the septum window, wherein when the first filling aid tab is moved from the first position to the second position, the septum cover is moved from below the septum window, and the filling aid device is in the locked position.

Devices and methods for conduit distention
11701469 · 2023-07-18 ·

Devices and methods are disclosed that provide a syringe actuator device for use in the distention and irrigation of a body conduit before the use in a medical procedure such as a coronary bypass graft procedure. The device can be retrofit to a syringe by attaching it to the cap of the plunger and engaged to automatically apply pressure to fluid in the syringe. In some embodiments, elastic bands attached to the device are easily engaged or removed from a syringe during a procedure to limit the pressure on the syringe to various levels. The device may be overridden by an operator pushing on the plunger of the syringe as in normal syringe operation.
