Intradermal needle, packaged article, and injection device
Provided are an intradermal needle having a protector that is movable from an open position near a needle hub to a closed position where a needle tip is covered, a packaged article, and an injection device. The protector has an arm that is supported in a freely pivotable manner by an axle pin positioned on the base end side of the wide diameter part of the intradermal needle, and a lid supported by the arm. With the axle of pivoting of the protector positioned near the needle hub, the lid may be housed compactly near the needle hub when the protector is in the open position.
Needle tip shielding device and catheter hub therefore
A needle tip shielding device, comprising a base plate with a hole extending there through from the proximal side of the base plate to the distal side of the base plate, and at least one resilient arm extending at an attachment point at said base plate (101) is provided. The resilient arm has a resting state wherein a distal hook of the resilient arm will coincide with a straight imaginary line extending longitudinally through said hole in the axial direction of said base plate. The resilient arm comprises a knob at its distal end, said knob extending laterally from the resilient arm. The knob is shaped with an outer curvature in the transversal plane around an axis parallel to the central axis of the needle tip shielding device and said knob is shaped with an outer curvature in the midsaggital plane around an axis perpendicular to the central axis of the needle tip shielding device.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR SAFETY SYRINGE
One embodiment is directed to a system for injecting, comprising a syringe body defining an interior medicine chamber; a stopper member configured to be inserted into the interior medicine chamber to contain medicine within the medicine chamber; a plunger member configured to be manually manipulated to insert the stopper member relative to the syringe body; and a needle having proximal and distal ends, the proximal end comprising an anchoring geometry configured to be at least partially inserted into the stopper member such that upon retraction of the stopper member, the needle is pulled proximally along with the stopper to be at least partially contained within the interior medicine chamber.

Fluid delivery device and method
A fluid delivery injector comprises a syringe defining a barrel; a plunger and a hollow needle provided within the barrel adapted for linear movement parallel to a longitudinal axis with a distal tip of the needle contained within the syringe. A fluid retention reservoir is defined at least in the barrel and is in fluid communication with the needle when pressure is applied to the fluid in the reservoir and to the plunger for moving the needle out of the barrel. A spring may be provided for retracting the needle when pressure is released from the plunger.
Safety apparatus for medical needles
In a safety apparatus for medical needles, when leg portions are extended from a first folded position to a second extended position, a distal end of a needle is introduced into a space of a shield member connection hub, and a first blocking wall and a second blocking wall overlap so as to block the cross section of the space to form a double blocking wall and blocks the cross section of the space. The double blocking wall is capable of preventing the distal end of the needle from moving downward from the double blocking wall and preventing the distal end of the needle from being exposed to the outside of the apparatus.
RETRACTABLE SYRINGE
An automatic retractable syringe comprised of a syringe inside a compressed spring loaded locking safety sheath that moves into a protective position over the needle of the syringe that is triggered by the depression of the plunger, causing the positional locking mechanism to displace from its initial position and activate a compressed spring that expands, moving the locking safety sheath into its protective position and locks the sheath, preventing further movement of the locking safety sheath. An optional fusing system acts to permanently fix the locking mechanism in place to further secure the locking safety sheath in the protective position.

DRIVE SUBASSEMBLY FOR A DRUG DELIVERY DEVICE, ARRANGEMENT, METHOD FOR ASSEMBLING A DRUG DELIVERY DEVICE, CONTAINER-HOLDER SUBASSEMBLY FOR A DRUG DELIVERY DEVICE, KIT AND DRUG DELIVERY DEVICE
A drive subassembly for a drug delivery device includes a housing element, a drive member, an energy member configured to provide energy to induce a torque onto the drive member tending to rotate the drive member in a first rotational direction, wherein the drive subassembly has a first and a second locked state. In the first locked state, a first rotation-locking mechanism prevents a movement of the drive member in the first rotational direction induced by the energy member. In the second locked state, a second rotation-locking mechanism prevents a rotation of the drive member in the first rotational direction induced by the energy member and an axial-locking mechanism prevents an axial movement of the drive member. The drive subassembly is configured to be switched from the second locked state into the first locked state by releasing the axial-locking mechanism and moving the drive member in an axial direction.
