The bulb section (11b) comprises a wall area (17a, 17b) having a wall thickness t.sub.2 being greater than said predefined wall thickness t.sub.1,lim, and further defines a central end wall area (20) having a wall thickness t.sub.3 smaller than the wall thickness t.sub.2. In an initial non-penet-rated state, the needle cover (10, 10a, 10b) assumes a first configuration wherein the wall areas of the bulb section (11b) and the wall areas of the shaft section (11a) are spaced apart from the needle cannula (3).
NEEDLE AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF
The present invention suppresses the formation of a pocket in a wall of a puncture route when a dull needle is moved forward along the puncture route. In order to achieve such aim, the invention provides a needle to be inserted into a puncture route extending from skin to a blood vessel under the skin to puncture the blood vessel, wherein: the needle is formed in a tubular shape and has an inclined end face at a tip of the needle, the inclined end face being inclined relative to an axis of the needle, a tip end of the inclined end face defining an unsharp edge; the needle has a flexibility of needle elastic modulus nE=1-900 Nmm as defined by an equation to be set forth below; a material of the needle is a resin; and the needle is manufactured by injection molding using a ring-shaped gate.
SYRINGE HOLDER AND PHARMACEUTICAL LIQUID ADMINISTRATION SET
A syringe holder includes: a barrel body that holds a syringe; a holder opening; deformation promoting portions; and radial movement-restricting portions. The radial movement-restricting portions are provided close to the deformation promoting portions. Being brought into contact with first portions, the radial movement-restricting portions restrict the syringe from moving in a radial direction with respect to the barrel body.
SYRINGE WITH SAFETY MECHANISM
A safety mechanism syringe includes a syringe, a needle, a holder, and a needle cover displaceable relatively with respect to the syringe along an axial direction of the syringe from a use position toward a protection position. The holder includes a locking portion. At least one member of the holder and the needle cover includes a protruding portion that protrudes toward the other member, and the other member includes a restriction portion that abuts on the protruding portion to restrict relative displacement of the needle cover with respect to the syringe along the axial direction of the syringe from the protection position toward the use position.
AUTOINJECTOR WITH DISCHARGE DETECTION
An autoinjector includes a housing, a product container, a torsion spring, a drive element, and a propulsion element. In order to discharge liquid out of the product container, the torsion spring rotates the drive element, and the rotating drive element produces a propulsive movement of the propulsion element and of a piston in the product container. A rotation sensor is configured for an alternating continuous detection of at least two rotational positions per revolution of the drive element during the discharge process, and a processor unit is configured for determining the axial position of the piston in the product container from the detected rotational positions.
Auto-Injector
An auto-injector for administering a dose of a liquid medicament (M) is presented having an elongate case, a carrier subassembly comprising a tubular carrier slidably arranged inside the case, where the carrier adapted to contain a syringe with a hollow injection needle. The injector also has, a drive spring and a plunger for forwarding load of the drive spring to a stopper of the syringe, wherein the syringe is lockable for joint axial translation with the carrier. A control spring is arranged around the carrier for translating the carrier in a proximal direction (P) for advancing the needle beyond a proximal end of the auto-injector, and a trigger button is used for releasing the control spring on actuation.
