DRUG INJECTION DEVICE WITH VISUAL AND AUDIO INDICATORS
A drug injection device (10) including a housing (12) for holding a container (20) having a needle (24) for penetrating skin and a plunger (42) for expelling a drug stored in the container. The device includes visual and/or audible indicators for indicating that the correct depth of needle penetration has been achieved and that drug injection/extrusion has been started and/or completed. The device may further include a label (140) for visually confirming the quality of the drug contained therein. Alternatively, a tray (110) may be provided for receiving the drug injection device, which allows the quality of the drug contained therein to be visually confirmed.
EMERGENCY AUTOMATIC INJECTION DEVICE
An automatic injection device for use with a syringe including at least one syringe piston and a needle coupled to a forward end thereof, comprising a housing element arranged along a longitudinal axis and having a forward end and a rearward end; at least one resilient element arranged to be located within the housing element; a needle shield selectably positionable with respect to the housing element; and a control unit adapted, when actuated, to be driven by the at least one resilient element for initially displacing the syringe relative to the housing element from a non-penetration position to a penetration position and thereafter displacing the at least one syringe piston in the syringe to effect drug delivery, and wherein the control unit is configured to be actuated upon axial rearward displacement of the needle shield with respect to the housing element.

Cap for an injector
Provided is a cap for an injector comprising a syringe with a needle cover. The cap comprises a cap body defining an inner and outer cap body; provided to the inner cap body, a grip for gripping the needle cover of said syringe; provided to the outer cap body, an opposing pair of recessed portions, wherein each recessed portion defines a recess base, and wherein each recessed portion is bounded by a peripheral lip; and provided to the recess base of each recessed portion, an over-coating. The cap body comprises a generally rigid material and each over-coating comprises a more flexible material. Each peripheral lip defines banks that extend beyond the over-coating of the recess base.
Cap for an injector
Provided is a cap for an injector comprising a syringe with a needle cover. The cap comprises a first cap body part in the form of a sleeve having forward and rear openings; a second cap body part in the form of a plug arranged for receipt by said forward opening of said sleeve form first cap body part, wherein said plug form second body part defines a plug top and an inner plug body, and wherein said inner plug body defines a protruding pocket; and arranged for receipt within said protruding pocket of the inner plug body, a metal connector defining plural needle cover gripping elements arranged around a central hub, wherein each gripping element is provided with one or more barbs for gripping the needle cover. The first cap body part, second cap body part and connector are provided as separate parts. In the assembled cap, the plug top of the plug form second cap body part forms a cover for the forward opening of the sleeve form first cap body part, and the needle cover gripping elements of the connector extend into the sleeve form first cap body part.
FLUID INJECTION DEVICE
A fluid injection device including a syringe with a body (1), a piston (3), and a needle (2) with an injection tip (20); a piston rod (5); and a sleeve (10) around the syringe and axially movable between a non-projecting position in which said sleeve (10) does not cover the injection tip (20) and a projecting position. The sleeve (10) urged, while in said non-projecting position, towards its projecting position by a spring (30). The sleeve (10) has an inner portion (11) extending inside the body, and an outer portion (12) extending outside the body (1), the inner portion (11) including a radially-deformable tab (110) snap-fastened in a window (6) of the body (1), blocking the sleeve in its non-projecting position. A hollow member (40) co-operates, after injection, with the radially-deformable tab (110), so that after the fluid is injected, the sleeve is moved automatically towards its projecting position.
Injection devices
The invention relates to an injection device comprising an elongate housing and a cap removably mounted over a forward end of the housing. The cap comprising at least one slot extending forwardly from its rear edge; the at least one slot being configured to engage with an outwardly projecting protrusion on an outer surface of the housing when the cap is mounted on the housing. A rearward portion of the cap includes rearwardly extending engagement features provided on each side of the at least one slot, the engagement features being configured to locate within a cavity in the housing when the cap is mounted on the housing. The cavity is provided with corresponding surfaces which align with the cap engagement features so as to hold the outwardly projecting protrusion within the cut-out.
Injection device with syringe carrier lock
An autoinjector device is disclosed which comprises a body portion and a syringe carrier, for supporting a syringe with a needle at its forward end. The syringe carrier is moveably mounted within the housing such that forward movement relative to the housing may extend the needle from a forward end of the body. The syringe carrier has a latch element arranged to cooperate with a corresponding retention feature of the body portion to releasably hold the syringe carrier in a rearward position within the body potion. A delivery mechanism is arranged to forwardly displace the syringe carrier relative to the housing and to deliver a dose of medicament from the syringe. A shroud assembly is provided at a forward end of the device. The shroud further comprises a locking arrangement which blocks releasing movement of the latch element from the retention feature when the shroud is in a first, forward position and is unlocked when the shroud is in a second, rearward position.
