The device has a sensor system (201, 202) for detecting and automatically signalling an attempt to use the device, the sensor system having a first sensor (201) arranged on the dispensing head (2) and a second sensor (202) on the body, the sensor system detecting handling representative of an attempt to use the device when the first and second sensors (201, 202) are activated simultaneously, the wireless communication module designed to make an automatic emergency call when the sensor system detects handling representative of an attempt to use the device.

A method of delivering a substance, such as one or more of a triptan, a nasal steroid or carbon dioxide gas, to the nasal cavity of a subject, in particular for the treatment of headaches, for example, migraine, or rhinosinusitis, for example, chronic rhinosinusitis, optionally with polyps, the method comprising the steps of fitting a nosepiece to one nostril of the subject, delivering the substance through the nosepiece to the posterior region of the nasal cavity of the subject.

Embodiments of an adaptor for delivering diffused aromatic agents to a user of a CPAP machine is disclosed in this document. The adaptor may include a connector body, a diffuser pad disposed within the connector body, and at least one coupling mechanism on the connector body coupling the connector body within the air supply and positioning the diffuser pad within the airflow of a CPAP machine. The adaptor may be configured to couple directly to a CPAP mask. Similarly, the adaptor may be configured to be placed in the airflow between the CPAP air generator and the mask. The adaptor may be configured such that no modification of the existing CPAP hose, machine, or mask is required.

The atomizer is configured to vaporize the aerosol precursor composition to generate an aerosol for oral delivery to a user, and the at least one aroma diffuser is configured to diffuse an aroma composition for olfactory delivery to the user.

A device for irrigation of an oral cavity in a patient includes a suction element configured to be disposed in the oral cavity and configured to suction a fluid out of the oral cavity. The suction element also has one or more irrigation outlets configured to irrigate the oral cavity with the fluid. A suction line is fluidly coupled with the suction element and is configured to be fluidly coupled with a vacuum source. An irrigation line is fluidly coupled with the one or more irrigation outlets and is fluidly coupled with a source of the fluid.

A device for irrigation of an oral cavity in a patient includes a suction element configured to be disposed in the oral cavity and configured to suction a fluid out of the oral cavity. The suction element also has one or more irrigation outlets configured to irrigate the oral cavity with the fluid. A suction line is fluidly coupled with the suction element and is configured to be fluidly coupled with a vacuum source. An irrigation line is fluidly coupled with the one or more irrigation outlets and is fluidly coupled with a source of the fluid.

A vaporizer device may include a vaporizer body configured to couple with at least one vaporizer cartridge including a first reservoir and a second reservoir. The vaporizer device may include a first aerosol generation mechanism configured to generate a first part of an aerosol by at least vaporizing a first aerosol component present in a first vaporizable material in the first reservoir. The vaporizer device may also include a second aerosol generation mechanism configured to generate a second part of the aerosol by vaporizing a first aerosol component present in a second vaporizable material at a second temperature. The first part of the aerosol and the second part of the aerosol may be delivered, via a mouthpiece, to a user of the vaporizer device.

A security tag can prohibit unauthorized usage of a device or product. The device may include an electronic nicotine delivery systems (“ENDS”) device, which may include aerosol delivery devices such as smoking articles that produce aerosol. The security tag can prevent usage until authorized. Attempts at usage without authorization can result in the device being unusable. The authorization may include identity confirmation or age verification.
