The one or more processors are operatively coupled to the image sensor to receive image data therefrom and to the actuator to actuate the valve. The one or more processors are configured to estimate a flow of fluid through the drip chamber and to actuate the valve to control the flow of fluid through the drip chamber to achieve a target flow rate.

Pinch clamp and mount

A pinch clamp and mount are provided. The pinch clamp includes a first member and second member including rounded pinch surfaces. The second member is pivotably coupled to the first member at a first end. A threaded shaft is pivotably coupled to a second end of the first member. A second end of the second member includes a seat configured to receive the threaded shaft and a nut thereon. The seat includes protrusions at the second end that prevent the nut from sliding out of the seat. The mount includes a body having a flat bottom surface. An internal wall defines a through hole in the flat bottom surface. Two guide rails on a top surface of the body define a central slot configured to receive the clamp. A pair of keyed slots within the two guide rails are configured to receive a pair of keyed projections on the clamp.

STABLE IV FLOW REGULATION CLAMP ASSEMBLY

A flow regulation clamp assembly for adjusting the fluid flow rate in a connector tube of an infusion set is provided. The flow regulation clamp assembly includes a housing to receive the connector tube, a slider slideably engaged within the housing and configured to compress the connector tube to provide a fluid flow adjustment, and a rotator knob moveable engaged with the housing and configured to move the slider. Infusion sets and methods of adjusting fluid flow rates are also provided.

Flexible electrosurgical instrument

An end effector of an electrosurgical device may include a first body, a first electrode on the left side of the first body, and a second electrode on the right side of the first body. The first and second electrodes may be configured to receive electrosurgical energy to treat tissue in a target treatment zone. The end effector may also include a fluid aspiration port in fluid communication with a fluid path. The fluid aspiration port may be configured to remove a material from the target treatment zone.

SYSTEM, METHOD, AND APPARATUS FOR MONITORING, REGULATING, OR CONTROLLING FLUID FLOW

An apparatus, system and method for regulating fluid flow are disclosed. The apparatus includes a flow rate sensor and a valve. The flow rate sensor uses images to estimate flow through a drip chamber and then controls the valve based on the estimated flow rate. The valve comprises a rigid housing disposed around the tube in which fluid flow is being controlled. Increasing the pressure in the housing controls the size of the lumen within the tube by deforming the tube, therefore controlling flow through the tube.

Pinch Clamp Devices, Methods, and Systems

A linearly actuated pinch clamp is provided, including a housing, a motor connected to the housing, a mechanical drive unit connected to the motor for converting a rotary motion of the motor to a linear motion and for introducing a mechanical advantage to the motion of the motor, and a pinching element having a body and a pinching surface. The pinching element body is coupled to the mechanical drive unit. In certain versions of the pinch clamp, the pinching element is slidably mounted to the housing such that the pinching element is linearly displaceable by the mechanical drive unit between a first position and a second position where the pinching surface cooperates with a fixed surface to pinch closed a flexible tube.

The invention relates a metering device for fluids from a containment volume. The metering device is a means to dispense metered volumes of fluids such as detergents, medicaments, lotions and the like. The invention further provides a container for fluid material to be dispensed in metered doses.

Pinch Clamp Devices, Methods, and Systems

A method of controlling flow through a flexible tube includes providing a pinch clamp mechanism including a pinching element and a pinching surface configured to apply a force on the flexible tube when the flexible tube is positioned between the pinching element and the pinching surface. The method also includes displacing the pinching element relative to the pinching surface with a mechanical drive unit and biasing the pinching element toward the pinching surface with a spring.

An extension set may include a clamp, which may include a housing and an actuator. The actuator may be movable between a raised position and a depressed position with respect to the housing. The actuator may include a bump profile. The extension set may include an extension tube, which may be disposed within the housing. The extension tube may include a loop. In response to movement of the actuator between the raised position and the depressed position with respect to the housing, the bump profile may progressively clamp the extension tube along the loop. The loop may facilitate an increased fluid volume flowing distally towards a catheter in response to actuating the clamp.
