The flexible sheet includes a first flexible layer, a second flexible layer, a plurality of functional layers located between the first flexible layer and the second flexible layer, and a plurality of electrodes electrically connected with the plurality of functional layers. The functional layer includes a carbon nanotube layer including a plurality of carbon nanotubes uniformly distributed. The flexible sheet is electrically coupled with the controller via the plurality of electrodes.
APPARATUS AND METHOD OF TREATING AN APPROACHING PHYSIOLOGICAL EVENT AND INCREASING AN INTENSITY OF THE EVENT
A flexible neuromodulation device and method capable of varying a neuromodulation therapy in order to prevent, delay, or control a sexual emission, and/or increasing an intensity of a sexual climax.
CLOTHING FOR ELECTRICAL STIMULATION
Provided is a clothing for electrical stimulation that may apply electrical stimulation to a user's body without a separate power source and may strengthen the strength of electrical stimulation applied to the body. The clothing for electrical stimulation includes: a main body including a first clothing region clothing a user's sole and a second clothing region worn on a body part other than the user's sole; a first conductor located on an inner surface of the main body and disposed to be in contact with the user's body; and a second conductor electrically connected to the first conductor and located on an outer surface of the main body.
Systems and methods for multi-modal and non-invasive stimulation of the nervous system
Systems and methods are provided to combine multiple stimulation modalities to significantly increase the effectiveness of non-invasive stimulation. Multiple sensor and stimulation devices and modalities can be combined into a single, compact unit that minimizes the need for additional sensors or stimulation devices. The system features several subunits, referred to as sensory and stimulation devices (SSD), that are integrated into a headphone setup. The system is controlled by a centralized controller that communicates with all of the SSDs and with an external computer system that delivers learning material synchronized with the delivery of stimulations and the collection of user responses based on physiological signals.
SMART GARMENT HAVING A CONTACT ELECTRODE
Various embodiments of the present disclosure are directed to electrode arrangements. In one example electrode arrangement, the arrangement includes an electrically conductive electrode, an electrically conductive thermoadhesive, and an electrode carrier. The electrode carrier is provided in the form of a flat material piece consisting of a textile or non-textile material. The electrode carrier is connected on one side to the electrically conductive electrode and the electrically conductive thermoadhesive being in contact with an opposite side of the electrode carrier. The electrode and the thermoadhesive are electrically conductively connected to form an electrical connection
Wearable medical device response mechanisms and methods of use
System and methods for providing a patient with arrhythmia treatment are described. For example, a system includes an arrhythmia monitoring and treatment assembly configured to be worn on the torso of the patient. The assembly has a housing discreetly extending from a skin surface of the patient. The assembly is configured to provide therapy on detecting one or more arrhythmia conditions of the patient. A first at least one user response button is disposed on the assembly at a first location on the torso concealed under clothing, and a second at least one user response button is configured to be worn on a second location of the patient's body, a location other than the torso that is accessible to the patient. The system suspends an impending therapy upon receiving a user input from either one of the first or second at least one user response buttons.
Flexible members for anchoring to the body
A flexible anchor member comprising a member for placement about a body part; at least one substantially inextensible textile element circumscribing the member and secured to itself or the member; and a force transfer coupler coupling a portion of the at least one substantially inextensible textile element to an actuator such that the substantially inextensible textile element constricts about the member for a duration of an applied force. Another flexible anchor member comprising an outer member including a substantially inextensible textile material configured for directing a force applied by an actuator to act upon all or a portion of the body part; an inner member for positioning between the body part and the outer member, a first surface of the inner member configured for frictionally engaging the body part or intervening clothing; and at least one coupler for coupling the outer member and the inner member.
Feedback brain stimulation to enhance sleep spindles, modulate memory and cognitive function, and treat psychiatric and neurological symptoms
The present invention relates to methods for modulating bursts of oscillatory brain activity, such as sleep spindles, in a subject. The invention further relates to methods of improving memory or cognitive function in a subject and method of modulating or enhancing the frequency of occurrence, structure, amplitude, and/or synchronization of sleep spindles in a subject by detecting a burst of oscillatory brain activity in the subject and passing an oscillating current through the skull of the subject.
Beauty instrument with mask
A beauty instrument with mask includes a flexible mask and a controller. The flexible mask includes a first flexible layer, a second flexible layer, a plurality of functional layers located between the first flexible layer and the second flexible layer, and a plurality of electrodes electrically connected with the plurality of functional layers. The functional layer includes a graphene layer. The flexible mask is electrically coupled with the controller via the plurality of electrodes.
Communication devices, methods, and systems
Numerous aspects of communication devices, methods, and systems are described in this application. One aspect is an apparatus comprising a plurality of energy generators arrangeable on or adjacent skin. Each energy generator of the plurality of energy generators may be operable to output a plurality of different energy types in a signal direction toward the skin. The plurality of energy generators may be operable to communicate with nerves associated with the skin when arranged on or adjacent the skin by outputting an energy signal in the signal direction with one or more energy types of the plurality of different energy types.
