SLIDER DEVICE AND HANDRAIL APPARATUS
There is provided a slider device that includes: a slider main body that can move in the extending direction of a handrail while holding the handrail; and a plurality of pairs of rollers that are provided on the slider main body in a plurality of places apart from each other in the extending direction of the handrail, grasp side surfaces of the handrail, and can travel on the side surfaces of the handrail. One of the rollers facing each other across the handrail is a fixed roller fixed to the slider main body and the other of the rollers facing each other across the handrail is a movable roller supported in such a manner as to be able to get farther or closer with respect to the handrail, and each movable roller is biased toward the handrail by a biasing member.
Fall protection system
A fall protection system includes an elevation mechanism including a base end and an elevated end, and that is configured to permit a user to scale the elevation mechanism. The first channel is disposed at a first side of the elevation mechanism and extends between the base end and the elevated end, and is configured to anchor a first shuttle to the elevation mechanism and permit the first shuttle to transition between the base end and the elevated end of the elevation mechanism. The second channel is disposed at a second side of the elevation mechanism and extends between the base end and the elevated end, and is configured to anchor a second shuttle to the elevation mechanism and permit the second shuttle to transition between the base end and the elevated end of the elevation mechanism.
FALL RESTRAINT SYSTEM
The present system for fall restraint includes a mounting frame connected to a trigger mechanism and firing blocks, with a trigger cable extending through apertures in the mounting frame and trigger mechanism. Sudden movement by a user, such as a fall, actuates the trigger mechanism to trigger the firing blocks. The firing blocks are loaded with anchors and firing cartridges. Triggering the firing blocks causes the cartridges to fire, propelling the anchors into an anchoring surface, such as a roof. Because the user is connected to the trigger cable, once the anchors deploy the user is anchored to the roof and their fall arrested.
Climbing locking system for vertical ladders
There is provided a climbing locking system for climbing ladders in particular of a wind power installation. The climbing locking system has at least one climbing ladder segment having a longitudinal direction and at least one open end for accommodating a fall arrester which can move back and forth as a climbing protection system along the longitudinal direction. The climbing locking system also has at least one climbing locking unit at the at least one open end of the climbing ladder segment. The climbing locking unit is fastened pivotably to the climbing ladder segment and has a locking position for locking a movement of a fall arrester along a direction of the climbing ladder segment and a passing position for allowing a movement of the fall arrester along the longitudinal direction of the climbing ladder segment in both directions.
FALL CONTROL SYSTEM AND METHOD OF CONTROLLING A MOVEMENT DURING FALL EVENT
A fall control system is described. The fall control system comprises an elongate guide rail extending along an axis, a trolley for moving along the elongate guide rail, a tether attached to the trolley at a first end, a second end of the tether for attaching to a user, and a speed control system for controlling a speed of the trolley along the elongate guide rail. The speed control system comprises one or more than one speed control track attached to the elongate guide rail and extending along the axis, a background speed controller coupled to the trolley and engaged with the one or more speed control track when the speed control system or the trolley is in a travelling orientation and controlling the speed of the trolley along the elongate guide rail to not exceeded a maximum walking speed. The speed control system also includes a speed controller coupled to the trolley and engagable with the one or more than one speed control track, the speed controller displaceable from a first position when the speed control system or the trolley is in the travelling orientation, and the speed controller is not engaged with the speed control track, to a second position when the speed control system or the trolley is in a falling orientation and the speed controller is engaged with the speed control track. The speed controller for controlling the speed of the trolley along the guide rail in the falling orientation to not exceed a maximum fall speed.
ACTIVE TROLLEY SUPPORT SYSTEM
A trolley for use with a fall arrest system, the trolley providing active control of both downward movement of a body attached to a rope or cable and horizontal position along a track.
LINKAGE OPERATION ASSEMBLY, FALL PROTECTION DEVICE AND FALL PROTECTION SYSTEM
The present application relates to the technical field of linkage mechanisms, and provides a linkage operation assembly, a fall protection device and a fall protection system. The linkage operation assembly includes a fixed main body configured to be installed on an outer support surface of a rail and move along the rail; a second wheel body assembly installed on the fixed main body for rolling along an inner support surface of the rail and including a second wheel set and a drive rotary shaft; a third wheel body assembly installed on the fixed main body for rolling along an inner support surface of the rail and including a third wheel set and a driven rotary shaft; and a linkage member disposed between the drive rotary shaft and the driven rotary shaft. When the drive rotary shaft of the linkage operating assembly rotates, the second wheel set is driven to rotate, and the driven rotary shaft and the third wheel set are driven to rotate through the linkage member. Therefore, during the installation process of the linkage operation assembly, only the drive rotary shaft needs to be rotated to switch the state of the linkage operation assembly, so as to facilitate the installation of the linkage operation assembly. Similarly, when the linkage operation assembly is disassembled, only the drive rotary shaft needs to be rotated.
Improved Fall Arrest System for a Person Climbing a Ladder
A fall-arrest system for a person climbing a ladder (7) affixed to or supported by a structure, comprises: an elongate track securable to the ladder (7) so as to lie adjacent to the intended route of a person climbing or descending the ladder; a sliding device (13) which in use is coupled to the elongate track and configured to be freely displaceable therealong when the person is climbing the ladder; and a safety line (12) extending from the sliding device (13) for attachment to a harness attachment point of a safety harness worn by the person climbing or descending the ladder, the sliding device (13) incorporating a locking mechanism configured to allow the sliding device (13) to freely slide along the elongate track during normal movement of the person connected thereto by the safety line and to automatically lock the sliding device (13) to the elongate track in the event of the person falling from said ladder. The fall-arrest system is characterised in that the elongate track comprises a flexible belt (8) configured to depend from an upper end of the ladder.
RAIL TYPE ANTI-FALLING SAFETY DEVICE
The invention discloses a rail type anti-falling safety device including a primary bearing block, an anti-falling tongue through-groove is opened on an upper end face of the primary bearing block, an anti-falling tongue pin is provided in the through-groove, an anti-falling tongue is provided on and rotatable about the anti-falling tongue pin, the anti-falling tongue is pressed tightly against a T-shaped steel-rail surface under the action of an elastic element, the anti-falling tongue has a cam structure at the end pressed against the T-shaped steel rail surface and a hanging loop at the end far from the end pressed against the T-shaped steel rail surface. A first clamping block is provided on a lower end face of the primary bearing block. The invention allows adjustments to the groove width of the anti-falling device while the safety and reliability is ensured, thereby providing uninterrupted personal safety guarantee for the worker.
