System and method for detecting lower body positions, movements, and sequence in golf swing training
Disclosed are various embodiments of golf training device that helps a golfer learn and coordinate lower body positions and movements with upper body movements, using a series of feedback signals. In one embodiment, among others, a system comprises a foot sensor that attaches to a Lead Foot of a user. The foot sensor is configured to detect a heel of the Lead Foot being raised. The system also comprises a leg sensor that attaches to a Trail Leg of the user, and the leg sensor detects a bend in the Trail Leg of the user. The foot sensor is configured to detect the heel being lowered at an instance after the detection of the bend in the Trail Leg. The system further comprises a feedback device configured to activate one or more feedback indicators after the detections of foot and/or leg movements.

Disclosed is a mat, method, and program for measuring a golf posture that are capable of measuring a golf club swing speed. The golf posture measuring mat capable includes a sensor unit sensing a pressure corresponding to a golf posture of a user and a trajectory of a head of a golf club, a control unit analyzing the golf posture of the user and a swing speed of the golf club based on a sensed signal of the sensor unit, a display unit displaying analysis data analyzed by the control unit, and a storage unit storing the analysis data and reference data. A plurality of sensors in the sensor unit are arranged one-dimensionally or two-dimensionally on a mat plate. Each of the plurality of sensors includes a single sensor including one among a capacitive pressure sensor, a resistive pressure sensor, and a hybrid pressure sensor, or includes a composite sensor including two or more among the capacitive pressure sensor, the resistive pressure sensor, and the hybrid pressure sensor.

Described herein are devices and systems relating to sports training equipment, for example, for baseball. These devices and systems can comprise a mat with markers identifying a plurality of positions on the mat. In some embodiments, the system can comprise removably attachable footpads to identify ideal foot positions for an athletic performance. In some embodiments, the footpads comprise one or more pressure sensors. The system can comprise one or more position sensors on a ball, and one or more position sensors removably attachable to a hand-held sports instrument. In some embodiments, the system can comprise a memory, communicatively coupled to a processor and a camera, with executable instructions to implement a set-up component, a user recognition component, a practice component, and instructional component, and a play component.

SPORT SENSING SYSTEM
A system has footwear and a striking device. The striking device has a shaft connected to a striking surface for contacting an object. A sensor affixed to the shaft changes electrical resistance when the striking surface is swung to contact the object to in turn generate a signal reflective of the deflection of the shaft. The footwear is configured with an array of sensors that change at least one electrical characteristic upon deflection when the player is operating the striking device. The footwear is to send signals reflective of the deflection of the feet as the shaft is swung. The signals reflective of the deflection of the shaft and the footwear are sent to a cell phone, notebook, PC or the like suitably programmed to present audio and visual images of the feet positions and movement and movement of the striking device (e.g., golf club, racket).

The system further comprises a feedback device configured to activate feedback indicators.
Sport swing training device
A golf swing training device generally guides and trains a golf swing with a particular focus on weight transfers and hip rotations throughout the golf swing. The device includes a baseboard that provides a bottom fulcrum which aids an athlete in training a correct weight distribution throughout the golf swing.
