A top opening extends from a top of the upper section through and communicates with the mid section and the bottom section to permit fluid to pass thereto and a reclosable member connects to the top about the top opening.
Pull Buoy
A flotation component, such as for a pull buoy, can be sized and shaped to be placed between the legs of a swimmer. The flotation component can include one or more features to assist in maintaining the flotation component in place while the swimmer is swimming. A pull buoy including the flotation component also can include an internally routed strap that assists in fastening the flotation component to at least one leg. A pull buoy including the flotation component can include a waist portion having a lateral diameter that decreases from one end to the opposite end.
Aquatic exercise device
An aqua-resistance exercise device includes an elongate member, a strap, fasteners, and one or more fins. The elongate member includes an engagement portion, a shaft extending from the engagement portion, and a handle to be gripped by a user. The fasteners are provided to the engagement portion of the elongate member and an inner side of the strap to releasably attach the strap to the engagement portion of the elongate member. The one or more fins are adapted to be received on the strap, and the fasteners releasably secure the strap to the engagement portion of the elongate member to thereby releasably secure the fins to the elongate member.
Automatic Detection and Quantification of Swimming
A wearable device for tracking swim activities of a user is provided. The wearable device may include one or more sensors configured to generate sensor data, and based on the sensor data, the wearable device may determine swim metrics such as swim stroke count, swim stroke type, swim lap count, and swim speed. The determined swim metrics may be filtered based on one or more swim periods during which the user is likely to have been swimming. The wearable device may determine such swim periods based on the sensor data and/or the determined swim metrics.
AQUATIC GAME APPARATUS AND METHOD
An aquatic game apparatus and method. The apparatus comprises a water skipping article, comprising a high-density foam material, a top surface having a rounded side profile, a rounded outer perimeter, and a bottom surface. The top surface of the water skipping article comprises a first elliptically extended face, a second elliptically extended face, and a continuous smooth-edged outer perimeter. The apparatus comprises a target, comprising a pop-up board and at least one of a plurality of fillable weight bags coupled to the pop-up board by at least one of a plurality of straps, wherein the fillable bags are configured to stabilize the target on a water surface. The pop-up board of the target comprises an upper surface having a plurality of pocketed nets, and a lower surface having a plurality of integrally formed flotation units, wherein the upper surface is elevated above the lower surface by a support pole.
Aquatic exercise equipment assembly and method of use thereof
Embodiments herein are directed to an aquatic exercising assembly. The aquatic exercising assembly includes a container having a liquid retention portion. The liquid retention portion includes a bottom wall, a pair of opposing sidewalls, and a pair of opposing end walls, a pedal assembly and a paddle assembly. The pedal assembly is rotatably coupled to the one of the pair of opposing end walls. The paddle assembly is coupled to each one of the pair of opposing sidewalls. The paddle assembly is movable between a rearward position and a forward position in a longitudinal direction. The pedal assembly is rotatably moved by a lower body movement of a user and the paddle assembly is moved by an upper body movement of the user.
Wearable Waterproof Audio Device and SmartWatch Necklace Headphones
A waterproof audio earphone device with at least one brace with a curved shape, is configured in a necklace-like manner, with an adjustable securing mechanism coupled to a portion of the brace, to tighten the brace about the prospective user's neck. A smartwatch or music device holder (optionally removable) is disposed in the brace near chest level and a waterproof wireless communication module is coupled to the brace and configured to communicate to a prospective smartwatch/music device disposed in the holder. Audio volume control buttons are disposed on the wireless communication module or the brace or along the earphone wire(s). A pair of earphones are coupled via wires to at least one of the wireless communication module(s) and the brace. And water sealing tips disposed interior of the earphones, the tips preserving the audio quality of the earphones when worn in an aquatic or semi-aquatic setting by a prospective user.
Method for monitoring swimming state by means of wearable device, and wearable device
A method and a wearable device are provided. The method includes providing a swimming mode in the wearable device, and storing standard swimming stroke data that have been collected in advance as corresponding template data, when a monitoring process starts, activating the swimming mode according to an instruction given by a user who will immediately enter water, and after the swimming mode has been activated, controlling a sensor to collect swimming stroke data of the user; obtaining test data for identifying a swimming state of the user from the swimming stroke data; and matching the test data with each template data, when the test data successfully matches the template data, identifying the swimming state of the user to be the swimming state that corresponds to the template data.
Wave generating system
A wave generating system is provided. The system includes an enclosure having a base and plurality of sidewalls extending orthogonally upward from edges thereon, wherein a plurality of pistons are disposed over the surface area of the base therein. A covering layer of a waterproof and flexible construction is pivotally affixed to a top end of the plurality of pistons and attached to the plurality of sidewalls. The plurality of pistons is operably connected to a circuit board disposed within a control panel via a grid connection and programmed to create patterns and contours in the covering layer via the plurality of pistons.
