Systems and methods for electronically creating and modifying a fitness plan are disclosed. The method may include receiving electronic user data, collecting electronic fitness data, and displaying a suggestion for a fitness activity based on the electronic user data and the electronic fitness data.

An electronic golf aid system for assisting users with reading greens on golf courses includes a camera that captures images of the user's field of view, and an electronic display device with a display screen that displays captured images. A processor, which communicates with the camera and display device, is programmed to: receive signals from the camera indicative of images of a golf ball and a cup on the green; determine respective locations for the golf ball and cup; determine a perspective view of the topology of the green between the golf ball and cup from the user's point of view; determine, based on the green's topology, a proposed trajectory line from the golf ball's location to the cup's location; and direct the electronic display device to display the proposed trajectory line superimposed on the surface of the green as the green is shown in real-time on the display screen.

A golf course route guiding system includes a controller disposed on a vehicle and having a memory module, a positioning module, and a processing module. The memory module stores a field information of a golf course and a plurality of movement zones set corresponding to the field information. Each movement zone has a route range. The positioning module provides a location signal indicating a current location of the vehicle. The processing module receives the location signal and determines the movement zone in which the vehicle is located, and assigns a route range set in the corresponding movement zone, which is sent to the processing module, so that the processing module limits the vehicle to move in the assigned route range. When the vehicle enters another movement zone, the processing module reassigns a route range, achieving a dynamic route adjustment function.

A workout music playback device for playing workout music during a workout with given workout parameters by arranging and assembling song segments of original musical recordings in accordance with workout parameters. The device has a media output manager configured to receive the workout parameters and prepare audio output information by arranging a sequence of song segments into an edited song recording. It has an instruction relay module configured to receive the audio output information, and transmit the workout audio output instructions. The device has a media output generator configured to receive the audio output instructions from the instruction relay module, retrieve and assemble the song recording data of the original musical recording from the memory in accordance with the audio output instructions, and transmit a data stream of workout music corresponding to the workout parameters.

The present method and apparatus capture the position of a golf ball on a golf course consistently and accurately using consumer-grade, affordable technology. The output provides the latitude and longitude of the ball along with, optionally, additional insights including surface type, club, stroke, penalties, etc. Accuracy can differ slightly depending on location but is typically within a matter of feet. For example, the rough may be less accurate whereas the greens should be very accurate. This method and apparatus utilize 3-5 trackers, typically volunteers, per hole to capture shot-level data while leveraging commercially available smart devices and range finders.

An adjustable climbing wall system enabling the arrangement of a force sensor with an attached climbing hold in various positions attached to a frame or wall. The system comprises a subframe element that is configured to a couple with a force plate. The subframe element is configured to be adjustable from a first position to a second position. The force plate is configured to couple with a climbing hold and the force sensor is configured to output a signal indicative of the forces applied to the climbing hold.

A basketball goal system comprising a backboard assembly and suspension frame affixed to the back surface, a suspension structure connected to the suspension frame of the backboard and a goal indication system which interfaces to at least one of the suspension structure or backboard to cause an indication (of various colors) to be presented via the suspension system and/or the backboard which indication relates to the shot points associated with a shot attempted at the goal. The goal indication system causes presentation of a cue on a front surface of the backboard, which cue is of a color corresponding to shot points. The backboard elements and light emission of the suspension frame can be controlled synchronously or asynchronously.

Fitness tracking devices and methods of operating the same. The fitness tracking device includes a sensor circuit to generate sensor data; a processor coupled to the sensor circuit; and a memory coupled to the processor and storing processor-executable instructions that, when executed, configure the processor to: buffer sensor data associated with motion of the user limb; generate an exercise prediction based on a prediction model and the sensor data, the prediction model defined by one or more oscillating signal profiles to identify genus predictions for respective limb movement types about at least one sensor axis, wherein the exercise prediction is generated based on a combination of an identified genus prediction associated with the generated sensor data and environment data associated with motion of the user limb; and transmit a signal representing the exercise prediction for display on a user interface.
