Rowing machine adaptor
A novel rowing machine attachment includes a bracket for attaching to a roller assembly of a rowing machine and a receiver for attaching to a handle of a rowing machine. In a particular embodiment, the bracket fixably attaches to the roller assembly and the receiver releasably attaches to the bracket for selective use. In a more particular embodiment, the bracket and the receiver are both integral parts of a single rigid body structure.
Smarter user handles for exercise machine
In response to physical connection of an exercise accessory with a portion of an exercise machine, an identifier of the portion of the exercise machine is received. A signal including the identifier of the portion of the exercise machine is transmitted.
Rotator cuff exercise device
The rotator cuff exercise device includes a ring unit, a mounting board, and a pair of mounting tracks. The rotator cuff exercise device may be adapted to exercise joints and muscles or may prevent the loss of flexibility in an elbow or a shoulder blade. The rotator cuff exercise device may be particularly suited for therapy after an injury involving a rotator cuff. A handle may detachably couple to an individual rotatable ring selected from one or more rotatable rings of the ring unit and may be adapted to be grasped by a hand of the user. The handle may be operable to move the individual rotatable ring in a circular motion. The circular motion of the handle may exercise the joints and muscles of the user.
ISOKINETIC OSCILLATION EXERCISE DEVICE AND METHOD OF PRODUCING SAME
An isokinetic oscillation exercise device of an elongated flexible blade having a first and second end and a grip portion coupled to a middle portion of the elongated flexible blade. End caps coupled to said first and second ends adapted to storage. Further, a method is disclosed of manufacturing an isokinetic oscillation exercise device that provides a flexible elongated flexible blade, a grip portion injection molding, a pliable ring injection moldings, and end caps injection molding; slides the pliable rings on the elongated flexible blade separated by a length of the grip portion, overmolds a first-shot of the grip portion over the pliable rings, overmolds a second-shot of the grip portion to the first-shot of the grip portion to the elongated flexible blade, seals the first-shot to the second-shot of the grip portion against the pliable rings; and attaches the end caps to the elongated flexible blade.
End Platform for an Exercise Machine
An end platform for an exercise machine for increased support of an exerciser's spine, neck and head which allows for an expanded scope of exercises that cannot otherwise be performed on the machine without the improved platform. The end platform for an exercise machine generally includes a novel, ergonomically improved stationary platform affixed to at least one opposed end of a substantially longitudinal exercise machine that includes at least a resistance biased reciprocating platform. The improved end platform provides for increased support of exercisers' spine, neck and head, thereby allowing for an expanded scope of exercises that cannot otherwise be performed on the machine without the improved platform, and further provides for the attachment of new and novel exercise equipment accessories to the exercise machine.
Exercise machine adjustable resistance system and method
An exercise machine adjustable resistance system and method for efficiently varying the workout resistance for an exercise machine. The exercise machine generally includes a carriage movably positioned with respect to the at least one rail, a plurality of springs selectively connectable to the carriage to provide a resistance level to the carriage, a plurality of electrically actuated mechanical devices adapted to latch a corresponding one of the plurality of springs to the carriage when in the latch state and unlatch a corresponding one of the plurality of springs to the carriage when in the unlatch state and a control unit in communication with the plurality of electrically actuated mechanical devices to selectively control the state of each of the plurality of electrically actuated mechanical devices to be within the latch state or the unlatch state.
Mobile training device
An exercising device including a lever or power arm which is able to be arranged by a first end on a retaining element at a first articulated joint in a way pivotable about a pivot axis or pin, whereby a resistance element is able to be coupled by a first end region at a first coupling point on the power arm, and by a second end region at a second coupling point at a second articulated joint on the retaining element. The exercising device is able to be detachably arranged on a structure by means of an engaging connection, which is formed by a hook-shaped recess and a rod-shaped element and whereby the exercising device is lockable in an engaged position by means of a fixation.
Grip Exerciser
A grip exerciser has a first handle, a second handle, a connecting member and a spring. The first handle and the second handle both have a pivoting portion and a holding portion, a pivot is disposed through the pivoting portions of the first handle and the second handle to assemble the first handle and the second handle together; the first handle further has an escaping space at an inner edge for accepting the connecting member, and the second handle further has a closed surface at an inner edge; the closed surface further has a plurality of positioning protrusions located along a continuous line and capable of engaging with one end of the spring;
System and methods for adjusting variable geometry, height, weight distribution dynamics in orthotic devices and equipment
An active suspension orthotic support system is disclosed. The suspension orthotic support system comprises at least one variable resistance beam extending from a heel section to a mid-arch section of the footwear, wherein rotation of the variable resistance beam from a first position to a second position causes a resistance provided by the variable resistance beam to vary between a minimum resistance to a maximum resistance.
Hand grip exercise apparatus and methods of using same
A hand grip exercise apparatus, comprising: a first half configured with at least one vertical surface, at least one horizontal surface and at least one angled portion; a second half configured with at least one vertical surface, at least one horizontal surface and at least one angled portion; and, a hinge, connecting the first half to the second half at the angled portions of each half.
