Rowing machine adaptor
A novel rowing machine attachment includes a bracket for attaching to a roller assembly of a rowing machine and a receiver for attaching to a handle of a rowing machine. In a particular embodiment, the bracket fixably attaches to the roller assembly and the receiver releasably attaches to the bracket for selective use. In a more particular embodiment, the bracket and the receiver are both integral parts of a single rigid body structure.
Walking assist device
A walking assist device includes: a pair of right and left handles that are movable back and forth with respect to a frame in accordance with arm swing performed during walk of a user; rails on which the handles are provided and which limit movement of the handles in a movable range in accordance with arm swing performed during the walk of the user; a handle information acquisition unit that acquires information related to movement of the handles; and a control unit that controls a drive unit in accordance with the information from the handle information acquisition unit.
PERSONAL EXERCISE SYSTEM AND APPARATUS
A personal exercise system including an exercise bar having opposing end portions, a grip portion intermediate to the end portions wherein the grip portion is w-shaped, and an elongate resistance band removably secured to at least one of the end portions. Each end portion of the exercise bar includes a loop for accepting a fastener at the end of the elongate resistance band. The loop is operable to pivot about the longitudinal axis of the exercise bar. The system further includes at least one support member each having a groove for receiving an end portion of the exercise bar.
Chair-Based Workout Apparatus and Methods
A workout system is provided that includes a piece of furniture having at least a backrest and a seat. A chair workout machine is provided coupled to the piece of furniture. The chair workout machine includes a support frame coupled to at least one structure of the piece of furniture. At least one rotatable arm is rotatably attached to the support frame. One or more resistance elements are coupled to the at least one rotatable arm, where the resistance elements arranged to provide resistance to movement by at least one body part of a user.
RESISTANCE DEVICE AND RESISTANCE TRAINING MACHINE HAVING THE RESISTANCE DEVICE
A resistance device includes a first rotating assembly having a first rotating member, and a second rotating assembly having a second rotating member and a plurality of magnets. A transmission unit is connected to one of the rotating assemblies for driving rotation of the same. A drive unit is connected to the other one of the rotating assemblies, is configured to receive a control signal, and is configured to drive rotation of the other one of the rotating assemblies according to the received control signal. Eddy currents generated by the first rotating member provide resistance to the transmission unit. A resistance training machine having the resistance device is also disclosed.
Exercise machine adjustable resistance system and method
An exercise machine adjustable resistance system and method for efficiently varying the workout resistance for an exercise machine. The exercise machine generally includes a carriage movably positioned with respect to the at least one rail, a plurality of springs selectively connectable to the carriage to provide a resistance level to the carriage, a plurality of electrically actuated mechanical devices adapted to latch a corresponding one of the plurality of springs to the carriage when in the latch state and unlatch a corresponding one of the plurality of springs to the carriage when in the unlatch state and a control unit in communication with the plurality of electrically actuated mechanical devices to selectively control the state of each of the plurality of electrically actuated mechanical devices to be within the latch state or the unlatch state.
System and methods for adjusting variable geometry, height, weight distribution dynamics in orthotic devices and equipment
An active suspension orthotic support system is disclosed. The suspension orthotic support system comprises at least one variable resistance beam extending from a heel section to a mid-arch section of the footwear, wherein rotation of the variable resistance beam from a first position to a second position causes a resistance provided by the variable resistance beam to vary between a minimum resistance to a maximum resistance.
LEG AND HIP EXERCISE DEVICE
The present invention relates to an exercise method and an exercise device for performing an exercise suitable for thigh and hip muscles like fitness equipment or an exercise bicycle, and more particularly, to an exercise method and an exercise device for strengthening thigh and hip muscles by performing a movement of lowering legs and then moving the legs backward or putting the legs together or apart from a position of pulling the legs toward a chest of the user with an arm disposed between the legs in a sitting or lying position of the user. In addition, the present invention relates to a leg exercise device including a trajectory measuring device of generating motion range information of the exercise device and making the motion range information as data through a motion range measurement sensor attached to a knee and a hip joint of the user seated on the exercise device, smart device and an application of the smart device.
Training apparatus
Training apparatus comprises exercise equipment mounted to a side surface or a roof of a land vehicle or for mounting to a surface such as a wall of a building or ship. The exercise equipment comprises a support structure which is attached to the surface or roof. In some embodiments the support structure is maneuverable by pivoting with respect to the surface or roof, whilst remaining attached thereto, between a stowed condition and an exercising condition.
EXERCISE MACHINE
An exercise machine may include a frame, a resistance mechanism supported by the frame, first and second pull cables supported by the frame and linked to the resistance mechanism, a power rack attached to the frame, first and second handles selectively attachable to the first and second pull cable, and first and second pulleys. The power rack includes upright posts configured to have barbell holders adjustably attached thereto such that the barbell holders are configured to be adjusted in various positions between highest positions and lowest positions on the upright posts. The pulleys are configured to selectively receive the pull cables to enable the pull cables to be selectively attached to a barbell to assist or hinder a user in lifting the barbell in a combined cableand free weight workout, the pull cables decoupled from the pulleys for cable workouts.
