Method of manufacturing a bladder element with an etched feature and article having a bladder element with an etched feature
A method of manufacturing an article comprises etching an etched feature on a surface of a first polymeric sheet, and forming a fluid-filled bladder element from the first polymeric sheet, with the fluid-filled bladder element having a sealable internal cavity that retains fluid. The method includes assembling the bladder element in the article so that a first portion of the bladder element having the etched feature is exposed to view, and a second portion of the bladder element is blocked from view by the article. An article includes the bladder element with the etched feature.
Systems and methods for tracking sports balls configured with electronic components
Systems and methods for tracking a sports ball assembly in real time during a sporting event are disclosed. A structure of the sports ball assembly is also disclosed. The sports ball assembly comprises at least one electronic circuit embedded or attached to a sports ball. The sports ball assembly is in network communication with a server processor via at least two receivers within a sports arena. The sports ball assembly generates and transmits UWB data packets comprising movement-related data for the sports ball assembly in real time at a predetermined rate. The at least two receivers receive the UWB data packets and transmit to the server processor with time stamps. The server processor is operable to determine a movement of the sports ball assembly based on the UWB data packets and the time stamps received from the at least two receivers.

Balanced ball device including a sensing unit for performance measurement
A football device includes an outer skin and an inner bladder to be inflatable and substantially resemble and perform like an actual football. The football device includes a sensor unit that can sense various performance metrics and wirelessly communicate data to another device such as a mobile device. To maintain a feel and performance as close to an actual football as possible, a battery powering the sensor unit is wirelessly recharged.

Basketball sensing apparatus
An apparatus includes a non-transitory computer-readable medium to direct a processor to: receive signals indicating a made basketball shot or a missed basketball shot of a basketball by a person during a basketball shooting session, receive signals indicating a location from which each made basketball shot is made, and determine and output a user cumulative score for the person for the basketball shooting session, the cumulative score being based upon the location of each made basketball shot.

DPS Sport Ball
A DPS (dual pressure system) sport ball incorporating a special, environment friendly casing that forms an exterior surface of the ball, which is bonded to a multiple lining layers to form a laminated sheet. The laminated sheet is sized, printed, and cut out into specifically designed panels using highly optimized and automated specifically developed machines. The panel cut outs are stitched together using a special stitching machine and a specific, compatible bladder is incorporated in the ball. The partially machine stitched ball is then finally closed by manual stitching and the seams are protected with a special adhesive. Resultantly, due to unique construction materials, their unique arrangement, innovative technology, and highly automated manufacturing processes, the DPS sport ball has advantageous durability, playability, controllability and excellent flight characteristics. The DPS sport ball qualifies under the international standards of match/professional balls at a very competitive price.
