Smart golf putter heads
A golf putter clubhead is designed with a unique structure using a geometry and a balance technology to provide super symmetry, harmony and balance at motion and at rest. The clubhead includes a body with triangular members, a putting face, and optional holes. The triangular form clubhead does not require compensation during the swing thus allowing for greater repetition and simplicity of movement in turn producing performance benefits via consistency. The geometric triangular shape of the clubhead provides an instantly recognizable assistance in proper alignment at the rest position. The body of the clubhead may be hollow and feature inner symmetrical structures to complement the form of the body and to enhance and provide superior weight distribution and balance, thus, providing a performance edge in swing consistency and performance, and allowing for repeatability of the clubhead.
SMART PUTTER FOR AUTOMATIC PUTTER GAME SCORING
Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for a smart putter and a putter gaming system. The smart putter may be configured with a plurality of sensors. The smart putter may be configured to process information from the plurality of sensors to determine whether a stroke has been performed by a user of the smart putter. Detecting a stroke has occurred may include detecting that the smart putter has impacted a golf ball on a field of play. The smart putter may further be configured to sign-in with a track associated with the putter gaming system. The putter gaming system may be configured to perform automatic scoring based, in part, on the stroke detection performed by the smart putter. The putter gaming system may further be configured to detected when a golf ball has been holed, indicating completion of a track.
GOLF CLUB ALIGNMENT DEVICE
A golf club fitting apparatus for helping with golf club alignment is provided. The golf club fitting apparatus may be attached to a golf club and provide fitting information including effective lie angle and effective loft angle. A leveler body is disposed at a predetermined angle relative to a shaft axis of the golf club so as to rest in a neutral position when the golf club is in a normal address position.
Adjustable putter shaft stiffener
A golf club has a first shaft coupled to a club head, a second shaft configured to slidably engage a portion of the first shaft, a grip coupled to the second shaft, and an adjustable length shaft assembly received by the second shaft and configured to allow a portion of the first shaft to slide in relation to the second shaft in a first configuration, and to restrict a portion of the first shaft from sliding in relation to the second shaft in a second configuration. The grip is restricted from rotation about the first shaft or the second shaft as the first shaft slides in relation to the second shaft.
Customized golf putters and methods of constructing customized golf putters
Customizable golf putters are disclosed. The putters include a putter face; a putter head that is configured to be reversibly connected to the putter face (with the putter head being selected from a plurality of different putter head styles); and a hosel that is configured to be reversibly connected to any of a plurality of hosel receiving channels that are accessible on a top surface of the putter head (the hosel is also selected from a plurality of different hosel styles). The golf putters further include a threaded shaft connector that is configured to reversibly connect the hosel to a putter shaft. In addition, the golf putters include one or more peg fillers, which are configured to be inserted into empty hosel receiving channels.
Putter with bi-material shaft
A process for manufacturing a putter with a bi-material shaft is disclosed herein. The putter comprises a putter head, the bi-material shaft, a mass member and a grip. The bi-material shaft comprises a body with a tip end and a butt end. The body comprises a metal section extending from the tip end to a connection point, and a composite section extending from the butt end to the connection point. The mass member is positioned within an opening at the butt end of the shaft. Mass from the shaft is transferred to the club head and the mass member in the butt end of the shaft.
MID ARMLOCK PUTTER AND GOLF GRIP
A putter type golf club includes a putter head with a ball striking face, a shaft attached to said putter head, and an elongated grip attached to the shaft. The elongated grip includes a lower section, an upper section and a cap forming a butt section at the upper area of the grip, the lower section of the elongated grip including a shaft opening at a lower end thereof, the lower section of the elongated grip structured to accommodate the hands of a golfer, the upper section of the elongated grip having a leading edge located in a direction toward and closest to an intended target with the putter head in a normal position prior to executing a normal putting stroke.
GOLF CLUB FITTING APPARATUS AND METHOD OF GOLF CLUB FITTING
A golf club fitting apparatus and a grip for helping with golf club alignment are provided. The golf club fitting apparatus may be attached to a golf club and provide fitting information including effective lie angle and effective loft angle. An angle indicator is disposed at a predetermined angle relative to a shaft axis of the golf club so as to rest in a neutral position when the golf club is in a normal address position. A grip is provided that may be attached to a golf club shaft such that a butt end and/or distal end of the grip have a surface that helps with golf club alignment. A grip is provided with a front portion having edges that help with golf club alignment.
GOLF PUTTER SHAFT
A golf putter has a shaft of composite materials, a putter head having a stud for mounting to the shaft of composite materials, and a grip affixed to the shaft. The shaft is a hollow shaft and the surface is sanded and cleaned before a first layer of pre-preg material is rolled onto the shaft and secured with an adhesive layer. At least one additional layer of the pre-preg material is rolled onto the first layer of the pre-preg material and secured using adhesive. Additional layers of pre-preg material may be applied to the hollow shaft. Cellophane is wrapped on top of the at least one layer of the pre-preg material prior to heat curing of the hollow shaft. After heat curing, the cellophane is removed and the surface is sanded and decorated.
Golf putter grip with integrated green reading and alignment system and golf putter incorporating same
A golf putter grip includes a main body with a generally rounded diamond cross sectional shape and having and integrated green reading and alignment system, wherein the integrated green reading and alignment system includes two break measurement lines, each break measurement line on one side of the grip and configured to assist the golfer in gauging the angle of the flag, and wherein the integrated green reading and alignment system includes at least two alignment lines on a top of the grip and associated with the two break measurement lines and configured to assist in adjusting a club head face of an associated putter based upon the gauged angle of the flag. A golf putter implementing the golf putter grip with a conventional shaft and head with club face is disclosed.
