MANAGEMENT SYSTEM, METHOD, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
A management system for managing a walk training apparatus according to one aspect of the present disclosure includes: a state detecting portion configured to detect a loaded state in which the user applies a load to the walk training apparatus during use of the walk training apparatus; an evaluation value calculating portion configured to calculate an evaluation value based on which the load applied to the walk training apparatus by the user is evaluated; and a timing determination portion configured to, in a case where the evaluation value is equal to or more than a threshold associated with the walk training apparatus, determine that a timing of maintenance of the walk training apparatus has come.
Differential air pressure exercise and therapeutic device
An exercise and therapeutic device includes a treadmill comprising a running belt coupled to a treadmill frame and an offloading system coupled to the treadmill. The offloading system includes an air chamber surrounding the running belt adapted to be selectively inflated between a deflated condition and an inflated, operating condition, a user seal coupled to the air chamber, adapted to receive a user so that, in an operating condition, at least a portion of a user is received in the user seal and positioned within the air chamber and to seal the air chamber around the user, a pump operable to inflate the air chamber, at least one strap coupled to the treadmill frame and adapted to restrict the expansion of the air chamber and adjust a spacing of the user seal relative to a running surface of the running belt when the air chamber is inflated.
Force measurement system
A force measurement system is disclosed herein. The force measurement system includes a force measurement assembly configured to receive a subject, and one or more data processing devices operatively coupled to the force measurement assembly. In one embodiment, the one or more data processing devices are configured to determine a difference between a center of pressure and a center of mass for the subject from output force and/or moment data, and to determine the fall risk of the subject based upon the difference between the center of pressure and the center of mass for the subject. In another embodiment, the one or more data processing devices are configured to determine one or more balance parameters of the subject from the output force and/or moment data while the subject is stepping onto the top surface of the force measurement assembly and/or stepping off the top surface of the force measurement assembly.
BALANCE TRAINING SYSTEMS AND METHODS
Systems and methods are disclosed for human balance training. The systems and methods involve intermittently occluding the vision of a subject while the subject is engaged in a balance activity, such as walking on a balance beam, for example. Creating a brief period of continuous visual occlusion results in posterior parietal cortex activation, leading to enhanced balance training. The end result is much greater improvement in balance compared to physical training alone.
WALKING TRAINING SYSTEM, CONTROL METHOD OF SAME, AND NON-TRANSITORY STORAGE MEDIUM
A walking training system includes a treadmill, a center-of-gravity position detection unit that detects a center-of-gravity position of a trainee from a load received from a sole of the trainee on a belt of the treadmill, a posture detection unit that detects a posture of the trainee, a center-of-gravity position estimation unit that estimates the center-of-gravity position of the trainee from the detected posture of the trainee, a determination unit that determines whether a difference between the detected center-of-gravity position and the estimated center-of-gravity position exceeds a predetermined value, and a notification unit that sends, when the determination unit determines that the difference exceeds the predetermined value, a notification notifying that whether the difference exceeds the predetermined value.
WALKING STATE MEASUREMENT SYSTEM, WALKING STATE MEASUREMENT METHOD AND NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER READABLE MEDIUM
A walking state measurement system includes: an endless belt that defines a walking surface on which a subject walks and that travels along a walking front-rear direction; a marker provided on at least the walking surface along a circumferential direction of the belt; a first camera for taking an image of the subject from front, the first camera taking an image of the marker on the walking surface from above to generate a first image; a second camera for taking an image of the subject from front, the second camera taking an image of the marker on the walking surface from above to generate a second image; and a correction processing unit that corrects an image generated by at least either the first camera or the second camera based on a position of an image area of the marker included in each of the first image and the second image.
Unweighting exercise equipment
A DAP unweighting system comprising an unweighting assembly and an exercise machine wherein the unweighting system is adaptable to the exercise machine and uses existing framing elements of the exercise machine to achieve an effective and user friendly DAP unweighting system assembly.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR MAGNETIC USER CONTACT POINTS IN EXERCISE DEVICES
An exercise system includes an exercise device and a wearable article. The exercise device includes a frame and a user contact point connected to the frame. The wearable article is configured to be worn on a user's body. The wearable article includes a magnetic connector that, when positioned proximate to the user contact point, applies a magnetic attraction force to the user contact point.
EXERCISE AID FOR A TREADMILL
An apparatus and method of use thereof for exercising on a treadmill, the apparatus includes a frame that mounts to handles of the treadmill. The frame is an arch shape having opposite a proximal bar and a distal bar, and a curved portion extends between adjacent ends of the proximal bar and the distal bar. The proximal bar is coupled to the handles. A protective cushioned seat extends between the proximal bar and the distal bar. To use the apparatus, an individual can unhook a proximal end of the seat from the proximal bar, position the seat behind the buttocks and between the legs, reengage the proximal end of the seat to the proximal bar, and can then walk or run on the treadmill.
TRAINING DEVICE AND TRAINING SEAT FOR KITE SURFING AND METHOD THEREOF
A training device having a platform for receiving at least one person; at least one anchoring point for fastening a securing means that secures the person on the training device; a vertical rotation axis Z, about which the training device can be mounted rotatably or is mounted rotatably. The anchoring point is arranged at or above the height of the buttocks region of the person, and the training device is rotatable about this rotary axis Z by means of forces acting on the platform.
