A golf aid for preventing improper wrist bending during a golf stroke. The golf aid provides a wrist wrap with a stabilizer the moves between a retracted position and an extended position spanning the carpal bones, preventing anterior bending of the wrist of a wearer. In the retracted position, the stabilizer is housed in a pocket of the wrist wrap and does not impinge or obstruct the freedom of movement of the wrist.

A golf training aid comprising a flexible arm band adapted to releasably fasten, a flexible strip having a first end and a second end and at the first end and the second end a closed loop is formed, wherein at substantially the midpoint of the flexible strip is attached to the flexible arm band, a first band detachably attached to the flexible strip through the closed loop at the first end, a second band is detachably attached to the flexible strip through the closed loop at the second end, and a securing mechanism attached to the second end of the first band and the second end of the second end by the detachable connects, and the securing mechanism is designed to secure to a golfer's clothing.

A golf training device and method indicates the proper position and/or motion of the golfer's trail wrist during the club downswing. The device may detect that desired DWLA is attained and provide real-time alerts of same. The device may provide positive feedback in the form of an auditory, tactile, visual and/or other signal.

In a first aspect, a method for monitoring a golf swing is provided that includes coupling a mobile telephone to a golf club and employing the mobile telephone coupled to the golf club to monitor acceleration of the mobile telephone as the mobile telephone swings while a user swings the golf club, collect acceleration information based on the monitored acceleration of the mobile telephone as the mobile telephone swings, analyze the collected acceleration information to determine one or more characteristics of the golf swing based on the collected acceleration information, and output information regarding the one or more characteristics of the golf swing on the display of the mobile telephone. An adjustable laser-sensor paired system for creating or replicating a desired swing form includes a laser device and a sensor device. The laser device has a laser which emits a laser beam and a mounting device which attaches the laser device to an object. The orientation of the laser is adjustable. The sensor device has an optical linear position sensor for detecting the laser beam of the laser device and a display with LEDs for providing feedback and user interface. With the system and method, one or more checkpoints for the form of a desired swing can be created at a selected point in the swing path, which may then be used as practice reference guides to check whether the user is correctly replicating the desired swing.

A golf training aid (10) that is arranged to he attached to one of the front and back legs (36) of a golfer (30). The golf training aid comprising a monitoring arrangement (14) for monitoring progressive movement of the back leg towards the front leg of the golfer; and an alarm arrangement (16) for alerting the golfer when displacement of the back leg towards the front leg has reached a predetermined position, to enable the golfer to make necessary bodily movements to swing a club that is held by the golfer.

A golf swing training device having components that may be worn by a user during a golf swing. The device may include a belt portion, a stretchable connecting member, and a glove, which is worn on a user's leading hand when swinging a golf club. The glove may include a harness that wraps around a user's hand. To use the golf swing training device, a user fastens the belt around their midsection so that it is snug. One end of the connecting member may be attached to the belt at the appropriate attachment point and the other end may be attached to the glove or harness. As the user begins their backswing, the connecting member stretches and provides resistance to the hand. The stretched connecting member promotes proper club head alignment in the backswing and forward swing.

A wearable training apparatus has a vision-control assembly and a head-mounting assembly coupled to the vision-control assembly. The vision-control assembly has a see-through area corresponding to a central portion of the human field of vision (FOV), and a vision-blocking area for blocking the human peripheral FOV except the central portion thereof. The wearable training apparatus may be in the form of a pair of eyeglasses with lenses provided with reduced FOV or alternatively, may be in the form of a goggle with reduced FOV. A training system may comprise one or more wearable training apparatus, one or more imaging devices for recording images and/or video streams of the performance of users wearing the training apparatuses, and one or more computing devices for playing back and analyzing the recorded images and/or video streams.

A golf hip-turn training device according to the present disclosure includes: an anchor section including a body having a band shape, a first ring coupled at a second side of the body, and a fixer that is formed at a first side of the body and configured to be coupled to a fixed object; a resistance load section including an elastic member that has a rope shape, and one or more second rings that are coupled to ends of the elastic member and fastened to the first ring; and a strap section having a loop band shape and including a third ring coupled at a first side of the strap section to hold the elastic member and to enable the elastic member to pivot around the third ring, wherein a second side is formed to wrap around a hip and a portion of a femoral region of a user.

Disclosed are various embodiments of a golf training system. In one non-limiting example, a system includes a feedback device, a sensor, and a computing device. The computing device is configured to at least receive sensor data from the sensor during the golf swing of the user and identify a plurality of body movements in which each respective body movement corresponds to a stage of a golf swing sequence based at least in part on the sensor data. The computing device can also be configured to activate a plurality of feedback indicators according to the golf swing sequence for feedback to the user during the golf swing.
