Disclosed is an exercise posture correction assistance method using working muscle information depending on motion performed by at least one server, including acquiring first image information containing movement of a user corresponding to a specific practice motion from a user terminal, deriving skeleton information corresponding to the movement of the user based on the first image information, generating second image information by indicating the movement of the user using a skeleton shape based on the first image information and the skeleton information, deriving muscle information corresponding to the specific practice motion from a database, generating muscle movement image information corresponding to the movement of the user based on the skeleton information and the muscle information, and providing the second image information and the muscle movement image information to the user terminal.

A golf training aid is disclosed for use with alignment sticks. The golf training aid includes an elongate member with a longitudinal axis and a first and second set of holes. The first set of holes is space apart farther than the second set. The elongate ember also has a target alignment hole positioned in between the first and second set of holes. All the holes are constructed to receive and hold an alignment stick. The golf training aid has least two configurations: a wide hitting box configuration and a narrow box configuration.

An example method of modeling a portion of a golf club and a golf swing includes scanning the golf club to obtain scanning information, training a convolutional neural network using the scanning information, using at least one camera to obtain a series of images, converting the series of images into parameterized motion representations, using at least one radar to obtain a radar signal, converting the radar signal into time-frequency images, inputting the parameterized motion representations and the time-frequency images into the convolutional neural network, receiving golf club parameters and golf swing parameters as an output of the convolutional neural network, and generating a visual model of the golf club and the golf swing in a virtual space using the golf club parameters and the golf swing parameters.

A method of constructing a tight mesh golf net with a support frame that returns a ball to a user, comprising routing the net around the support frame from a forward section that returns the golf ball to the user, under and around a rod between side supports, toward the forward section and upward toward top ends of the side supports.

A training device to practice wedge shots on a golf course and a method of using the training device are described. The training device includes a base with one or more retaining elements to releasably retain a head of the wedge while the wedge shaft is angled backward and thereby demonstrate an approximate optimal angle at which a user should hold the wedge when practicing the wedge shot. A user places the device on a surface, like a sand trap or rough, and inserts the wedge so that the head is retained by the retaining elements while the shaft in angled backward. The user stands on one side of the device, removes the wedge from the retaining elements, shifts the wedge to an opposite side of the device while maintaining the demonstrated angled alignment of the shaft, and initiates a golf swing to hit the ball back onto the green.

An apparatus comprises a shaft; an openable and closable canopy; and a plurality of upwardly extending holding chambers on an underside of the canopy. The apparatus is thought to be particularly useful as a golf chipping game, with golf balls being chipped into the holding chambers as target practice.

A sports swing tracking system that has at least one computer processor, a camera system with a digital image sensor, the camera system operating at or greater than sixty frames per second at an exposure rate faster than one one-thousandth of a second. The sports swing tracking system also includes a distance calculating system designed to calculate the distance to an object of known size determined by a pixel array corresponding to the equivalent dimensions of the imaged object. The sports swing tracking system also includes a body frame pose estimator system designed to calculate the distance between each of thirteen or more body frame points and a motion mapping system designed to calculate changes in the three-dimensional location and attitude of at least one or more of the thirteen or more body frame points, an at least one ball point, and two or more points representing a sports instrument.

In a first aspect, a method for monitoring a golf swing is provided that includes coupling a mobile telephone to a golf club and employing the mobile telephone coupled to the golf club to monitor acceleration of the mobile telephone as the mobile telephone swings while a user swings the golf club, collect acceleration information based on the monitored acceleration of the mobile telephone as the mobile telephone swings, analyze the collected acceleration information to determine one or more characteristics of the golf swing based on the collected acceleration information, and output information regarding the one or more characteristics of the golf swing on the display of the mobile telephone.
