FITNESS DEVICE
A fitness device comprises a force applicator comprising: a base; a first fixed wheel comprising a first center pivotally fixed to the base, and configured to allow rotation of the first fixed wheel about the first center; a second fixed wheel comprising a second center pivotally fixed to the base, and configured to allow rotation of the second fixed wheel about the second center, wherein the second fixed wheel is substantially in line with the first fixed wheel; and a movable wheel positioned above and between the first fixed wheel and the second fixed wheel, and comprising a movable center configured to move either toward, or away from, the first fixed wheel and the second fixed wheel, and is configured to allow rotation of the movable wheel about the movable center; an elastic element, placed between the nut and the fixing element, and a rope configured to be accommodated in the force applicator. Additional embodiments of the fitness device are disclosed herein.
Exercise device with continuous, flexible pulling member
An exercise device uses a guide member that is rotatably arranged on a shaft. A continuous, flexible pulling member wraps around the guide member and causes the guide member to rotate when the continuous, flexible pulling member is pulled. Two rotatable metal discs are arranged coaxially with the guide member on the shaft, one rotatable metal disc being arranged on each side of the guide member. A gear set is operatively connecting the guide member and the two rotatable metal discs. A magnetic cylinder is arranged substantially parallel to the shaft between the two rotatable metal discs such that a magnetic field passes through radially outer areas of the rotatable metal discs in a substantially axial orientation. The rotatable metal discs and the magnetic cylinder form an eddy current brake which counteracts a pulling motion on the continuous, flexible pulling member.
SERPENTINE CLIMBING CORD EXERCISE CLIMBER
According to embodiments of the disclosure, an illustrative serpentine climbing cord exercise climber herein may comprise: a plurality of lateral frame members that are connected at upwardly extending ends with a head plate; a plurality of bottom support members that are each connected at outwardly extending ends to respective downwardly extending ends of the plurality of lateral frame members, wherein inwardly extending ends of the plurality of bottom support members are connected by a central joiner that is substantially aligned along a vertical axis with the head plate; and a pulley system comprising one or more pulleys that are coupled to one of the plurality of lateral frame members, one of the plurality of bottom support members, the head plate, and the central joiner, the pulley system operable to allow a climbing cord to travel along the vertical axis and a path defined by the one or more pulleys.
Pull angle self-adjusting endless rope trainer
An endless rope trainer that includes an upright frame, a drive roller supported a distance above ground on the frame, an endless rope entrained around the drive roller, and a means of applying resistance to rotation of the drive roller. A pair of guide rollers are provided proximate the drive roller. The guide rollers pivot together as a unit about the axis of the drive roller independently of the drive roller for maintaining a constant wrap angle of contact of the endless rope on the drive roller regardless of pull angle on the endless rope.

Isokinetic rope climbing method and machine
An endless loop rope climbing machine that maintains a constant rope speed through a hydraulic resistance mechanism. This method and device uses a climbing rope threaded about a tapered friction sheave connected to a hydraulic pump via a shaft. The user selects a desired fluid flow rate corresponding to a preferred rope climbing speed using a flow adjustment mechanism. Force exerted on the rope by the climber initiates the flow of fluid through the hydraulic system. Fluid is propelled through the system to a pressure compensated flow control (PCFC) valve in fluid communication with the hydraulic pump. A pressure compensating spool within this PCFC valve shifts in position to regulate fluid flow, returning a constant velocity of fluid to the hydraulic pump. The shaft connected to the hydraulic pump rotates at a consistent speed regardless of the force applied by the climber, thereby maintaining the steady rope climbing speed selected by the user.
Combined exercise apparatus
A combined exercise apparatus includes a lat pull-down machine and a rope pulling exercise machine. The lat pull-down machine includes a first handle, a first pull rope, and a first resistance module. The first handle is connected with the first resistance module through the first pull rope for providing lat pull-down training through the first resistance module. The rope pulling exercise machine is mounted to the lat pull-down machine. The rope pulling exercise machine includes a rope, a wheel seat, and a second resistance module. The rope is wound around the wheel seat. The wheel seat is connected with the second resistance module for providing rope pulling training through the second resistance module. Wherein, the first resistance module of the lat pull-down machine and the second resistance module of the rope pulling exercise machine are independent from each other.
Expandable exercise system
An expandable exercise system is used for mounting a part of an ancillary exercise device. The expandable exercise system includes a main exercise device and another part of the ancillary exercise device. The main exercise device includes a coupling seat. The other part of the ancillary exercise device is pre-mounted to the coupling seat and detachably connected with the part of the ancillary exercise device to form the ancillary exercise device, thereby easily increasing or decreasing the number of training modules to enhance the convenience of product use.
